Just keep the muzzies away from the maintenance and operation of the dam. Let’s not take any chances.

"...solar farms and wind turbines that represent the power sources of the future..."

Sounds like we need to prepare to shiver in the dark.

Technically speaking, hydroelectric plants are already solar battery power generation facilities.

The solar power evaporates the water from the seas and oceans, and then deposits it in the mountains, where it is collected behind the dams, and then used to generate electricity, and then the water flows back to the seas and oceans.

So they want to spend a huge amount of money to use the sun and wind to replenish the water behind the dam. I heard about this process in my 4th grade science class in 1969. It was called “the water cycle” and my recollection is it doesn’t cost anything.

Right you are. If we’re going to have to rely upon that fake garbage, we’ll be very cold and it’ll be very dark, for all of us.

Plus the power generated has to be subsidized because they are so inefficient.

I'd bet that the gov't paid most of the tab, with our tax dollars.
