I am so happy that you asked!
I am going to have another Boston type tea party and dump every bit of tea in this country into the Midland/Odessa desert then set it on fire!

Berlin - “For All Tomorrow’s Lies”
I had a similar feeling when I visited the P. P. Bliss Gospel Writers Museum in Rome, Pa., the home of Phillip Paul Bliss, who wrote such hymns as "It Is Well With My Soul," "Let the Lower Lights be Burning," and many others. The museum is located in Bliss' home and its artifacts include actual instruments that belonged to him. Bliss was killed in a train wreck near Ashtabula, Ohio in 1876. Two other great hymn writers, Daniel Towner ("The Old Ship of Zion," "In Loving Kindness, Jesus Came") and James McGranahan ("I'll Stand By Until the Morning," "Christ Returneth") also hailed from Rome, Pa., a tiny community located at the same latitude as Rome, Italy.
On my way back to Ohio, I stopped at Chautauqua Lake near Jamestown, NY, where Mary Lathbury wrote the hymn "Day Is Dying in the West" in 1877. It was evening and a storm was coming in, so the scene was a perfect setting for the proper mood.
I’m not enough of a connoisseur to have much of an opinion - McArdle certainly sings it with more feeling - I guess she did “Annie” on stage, and Quinn handled the movie - the one I remembered.....
Thank you Kathy.
You are such a sweetheart!
Thanks for the links from the I’s....
I’m a little late to the party,
The “World Party”
“Ship of Fools”
We’re setting sail to the place on the map
from which no one has ever returned
Drawn by the promise of the joker and the fool
by the light of the crosses that burned.
Drawn by the promise of the women and the lace
and the gold and the cotton and pearls
It’s the place where they keep all the darkness you need.
You sail away from the light of the world on this trip, baby.
You will pay tomorrow
You’re gonna pay tomorrow
You will pay tomorrow
Save me. Save me from tomorrow
I don’t want to sail with this ship of fools. No, no
Oh, save me. Save me from tomorrow
I don’t want to sail with this ship of fools
I want to run and hide
