Robert Spencer of Jihadwatch.org is a relentless anti-jihadist and gave lectures to the FBI and the military on fighting jihad. The Muslim Brotherhood-CAIR went running to John Brennan, who got Obama’s WH stationery and told the Brotherhood that Brennan was out as they spoke.
After Brennan fired Spencer on the stationery, he had all his materials at the FBI destroyed, and then brought the agents back to have them “deprogrammed” from Robert Spencer’s work. Actual lectures to erase what Spencer told them. That is sick. Brennan is a jihad apologist. He allows Muslims tell him who the haters are, yet says nothing when 2000 Christian churches are burned in Indonesia by Muslims.
I have read Spencer’s work and it is great.

He lied to Congress under oath at lteast twice: when he testified that the government wasn’t collecting information on American citizens and when he testified that the dossier had nothing to do with the Carter Page FISA application.
He admits to voting Communist for president once. How many more times is he NOT admitting to?
He has revealed classified information in tweets and other public fora.
All of those are good reasons to take his clearance.

Pretty common occurrence in the permanent government, from the intel community or the armed forces to some sort of government services contractor.
The process has gone out of control since beginning after the First Gulf War when GWB began to really massively cut the defense and intel establishments. After 9-11 everyone went nuts trowing money at the voids that had been created, The budget sequesters for years on the armed forces just institutionalized the problem. The result is the USA now has a genuinely vast crypto intel and defense establishment that is effectively uncontrolled.
