I never said that, so I’ll pass on arguing a red herring that you have cooked up and somehow assign to the original poster.

It wasn't a red herring. It's what I thought the poster meant, and as it turns out, that does seem to be the case. See post 79. If you don't want to take a position on whether Sessions is partly responsible for the Mueller witch hunt, then so be it.

But obviously Trump isn’t unhappy enough to fire Sessions because he hasn’t.

Trump's own words to his 53 million Twitter followers say that Trump is very unhappy with Sessions and that he may have to get involved. I believe Trump will fire Sessions when he thinks it's the best time politically, for his agenda, for the country and for the rule of law.

Unlike how he fired Rex Tillerson, which oddly enough wasn’t preceded by a string of negative tweets.

The Rex Tillerson circumstance is far different and a lot less politically charged than the Mueller/Rosenstein/Sessions circumstances.

As for Sessions being responsible for Mueller, it’s funny how the Fire-The-Elf crowd forgets all of the Congressional Republicans hailing Mueller’s appointment:

You don't think the fire-the-elf(lol) crowd has been critical of the establishment Republicans who supported the Mueller pick? I know I have.

I don’t know exactly when it started, but the fact that it has continued since Trump became president is the sole responsibility of Jeff Sessions.

That's what I thought you meant.

If he had not recused himself, there would not be a Mueller investigation.

I agree.

advice from Jeff Cunningham, a sometime confidante of Donald Trump:

"Donald Trump may be the most important figure in American history journalists despise but can’t understand. Sun Tzu, the Chinese general and author of The Art of War, wouldn't have it any other way:

“Everyone sees tactics, but only Generals see strategy.” — Sun Tzu

As the world's foremost military strategist, Sun Tzu can be helpful in evaluating the very quality that baffles the media: Trump is a gamesman.

"If you ever go mano a mano with Trump, keep an eye on the “tell.” In practical terms, pay attention to his actions and who he deploys to get things done, not necessarily his pronouncements.

To use an old fishing expression, Trump throws a lot of chum in the water. We have all witnessed him saying one thing and doing another, or his people will do yet a different thing before he says something else. It can seem very confusing and the media calls it “chaos.” To me, it’s just code for keeping your opponent off balance, and the code breaker is Sun Tzu:

“The general is skillful in attack whose opponent does not know what to defend, and he is skillful in defense whose opponent does not know what to attack.”

Sun Tzu And the Trump Doctrine

I guess you'll just have to wait until Sessions rolls up Trump's enemies to figure out what both of them have been doing, even though it's hidden in plain sight. Don't assume his tweets regarding Sessions are intended to inform you, they're intended to confuse his foes. And it's obviously working well.

Don't try to be cute.

You clearly hoped for Sessions to die.

Hey, not trying to be cute. I needed to jog my memory. I don’t spend much time here and don’t recall everything I post.

Donald Trump's tweets are to his 55 million faithful followers. If you want to assume that Trump is telling his 55 million faithful followers false information, good luck with that. I won't assume that.

I guess you'll just have to wait until Sessions rolls up Trump's enemies to figure out what both of them have been doing, even though it's hidden in plain sight.

What's not hidden and is in plain sight are Jeff Sessions' recusals. Trump likely does employ a Sun Tzu strategy but that does't change the fact that Jefferson Beauregard Sessions testified before Congress and under oath that he would recuse himself, and then he did exactly that.

I guess you'll have to wait until Jeff Sessions is thrown out on his "elf"-like rear end to figure out that Trump's likely Sun Tzu strategy doesn't include the cooperation of the sworn-to-be-recused Jefferson Beauregard Sessions.
