I have zero reason to think that I have any American Indian ancestry, but CRI Genetics told me that I have 3.2% “Admixed America” (Colombia, Peru, Mexico, and Puerto Rico). I think they are misidentifying European DNA among Latin Americans as indigenous. Unless eating Mexican food can change your DNA.

BOSTON GLOBE: “Due to a math error, a story about Elizabeth Warren misstated the ancestry percentage of a potential 10th generation relative. It should be 1/1,024.”

With 1/1,024th the standard, Trump has a pretty good chance of being Indian himself, or perhaps even African American.

This guy is a world renowned DNA researcher. If ANYONE had a sample of Cherokee DNA, it would be him. So he ran her against real Cherokee DNA and nothing showed, so they reverted to Plan B: run her against Peruvian DNA and say it’s the same thing. Uh huh, righto.

Stanford professor, Carlos D. Bustamante - I can see why he got into genetics. Probably wanted to figure out why his face starts half way down his skull.

Clinton advisor Paul Begala will be filing a law suit for "forehead appropriation".

It sounds like Indians don’t want anyone knowing their DNA origins.

Makes me wonder why.

A friend is Hopi and an elder. He told me years ago the Hopi came in thru Florida, not the Bering Strait.

We are Catholic. Dna testing told me I am less than 1% Ashkenazi Jewish. Should I start celebrating Chanukah rather than Christmas?

Inbreeding will do that.
