Hmmm, I’m sensing an echo on the gaydar.
White woman speak with forked tongue.
My mother’s side of the family lives near Cherokee, NC. My memory from being at the museum in Cherokee says that 25% is required to be on the tribal register. I have a few cousins who are on it whose parents married natives. One nephew is a tribal lawyer for a different tribe.
My full sister has about 1% Native American in the DNA she turned in. Our maternal family lived for generations near Cherokee and one of our ancestor’s rifle, used in the capture of Tsali, a Cherokee warrior, is in the museum. I’d never send my DNA to the DNA people, because I don’t trust them. My sister explains it as the DNA people told her. She has markers in her DNA that match Native American markers in all the DNA ever submitted that is part of the database that the DNA company matches.
IOW, it is like having 2 or 3 points of similarity in a fingerprint match. You’d never get a conviction based on 2-3 points, and many insist on 10 or more. That is fingerprints, but the point is the same. Having a few similarities to a database is not a match I’d take to the bank.
As a matter of fact, in our case, I’d say that my ancestor’s rifle used against Tsali probably argues AGAINST having ancestral Cherokee blood more than it argues for it.
But recent relatives have married Native Americans after our birth, so none of that relates to us. I’d be fine with having Native American blood, but I wouldn’t use a 1% match of similarities in DNA to make the case that I have Native American in my background.
Yep. Little White Dove Warren’s career benefited from the racial quota system. How much DNA is required to rate as an oppressed minority? She was going for intersectional victim points to get higher on the scale.
Carlos D. Bustamante?
As in Carlos Danger Bustamante, the guy Huma’s husband is named after?
23andMe was founded by the left-wing extremist, Anne Wojcicki. Her two sisters are Susan Wojcicki, CEO of YouTube and a former executive at Google and Janet Wojcicki, anthropologist and epidemiologist at the University of California, San Francisco. She was married to the extremist left-wing democrat, Sergey Brin, co-founder of Google (now a subsidiary of the parent company, Alphabet).
Went to a fellow lefty professor rather than a reputable DNA outfit. ‘Nuff said.
So will Jeff Kuhner at noon Easter, also WRKO
This is easily settled as socialists set a precident for this year’s ago. 1/32 Jewish blood would not have been enough for the National Socialists Party to send you to the gas chambers, it shouldn’t be enough Indian blood to get you preferential treatment either.
I applied to medical school with 1/16 Native American. I was told I did not qualify as a Native American unless I was 1/8 Native American. So.....she lied in her applications for teaching positions with ....?1/32 Native American.
Her DNA test proves NOTHING.
Just thinking about all this. We are America, where you can be whatever you want to be. You can be any Gender you feel you are. You can be any race you feel you are. Its all about Feeeeeeeling! i.e. if you are black, you can be Viking, if you are white you can be Zulu, If you are Eskimo you can be Mexican, if you are German you can be Indian. etc. etc.. Next we can just do away with birth certificates altogether. Today I feel like I want to be Mexican, so I will go to Taco Bell for Lunch, and maybe I’ll wear my Tijuana bought festival sombrero. Amerika, what a country!! Getting sicker by the day, but still, what a country!
However, I wouldn’t consider 1/512 blood being an “indian”. Show me your check from the casino fund kickback.
You think this is her first DNA test? She probably took a few before (under phony name) and binned them because she came out at zero American Indian DNA.
Even this test is pretty pathetic as far as her Injun DNA.
Exactly how much “diversity” of “race” does an applicant have to prove to get special treatment at universities?
I’m serious.
Like the movie Soul Man.
What if colleges start to charge foreign student tuition since people came from the Garden of Eden which is out of state.
Bering Strait pedestrians might be Eskimos (Inuit) or Chinese (and may have started some “Indian” tribes, perhaps, and Russians might have those epicanthic fold ethnic types who show explorers where the Abominable Snowman lives in caves in eastern Russia and look like Asians.
That lost race guy in the book Ishi:the Last of His Tribe was taken to meet the first modern people he ever saw and said a greeting of a stranger to all in the line except a Chinese to whom he said the greeting for one of my race of people. Weird.
Warren can push herself as the new Hillary but I reserve my right to oppose her.
If that is true, then how many Americans can claim that they have a fraction of a percent of Indian blood? Probably in the tens of millions. It is not a vindication at all but adds more to her mockery.
Hey I came back 3 percent North African
Then when the results were updated I was 100% from Caucasian areas.
So if my 3 percent went away, how significant can 1/64 or 10th generation be? Especially without DNA commercial testing
“However, I wouldnt consider 1/512 blood being an indian.”
1/512 is DNA noise and static that means nothing. Same for her being (maybe) 1/128 and 1/256 part Indian
