Last time I was there I had the roast pork with greens and gobbled up the whole thing, and I'm a little old lady. Simply scrumptious.

First lady Melania Trump's airplane reportedly was forced to return to Andrews Air Force Base after a smoke condition developed in the jet while it was en route to Philadelphia.
Problem aboard First Lady's plane, returning to @Andrews_JBA. Press pool aboard reports "thin haze of smoke" was visible and the smell of something burning. Passengers given wet towels to breathe through. Told a "mechanical issue" was detected.

Pat's and Geno's are garbage. Locals don't eat there. Go to a local shop and get a real cheese steak.

Yes! Capogiro's was featured in the Food Network program's "The Best Thing I Ever Ate - Sweets" episode. I forget which chef recommended it.
Its NOT smoke. IMHO its toxic fumes from leaking hydraulic fluid on the hot surface of one of the engines. The hyd. fluid has a anti-wear additive in it that when heated to high temps produces fumes that are drawn into the cabin air system.
Exposure to these fumes can cause severe neurological problems.
Don't forget DC and Richmond.

Smack in the middle of the Center City "gayborhood." Yes, gelato. No, no cheesesteaks.
Under I-95 is a fine place to eat.
Anyone traveling on 1-95 can exit at Packer Avenue, drive one block north to Oregon Avenue, park in Tony Luke’s lot, eat a to-die-for hoagie, and get right back on I-95.
I know, I know. I lived in Philly decades ago. See my comment #20. The criteria for me...the shop had to be good but close. When I lived on Bustleton Ave, there was a hole-in-the-wall within walking distance. In Bensalem Township, I drove...but just down the street.
Mmmm! Those look delicious. I might have to take a slight detour on my way to DE for Thanksgiving.
