Rodrigo Abeja, a caravan leader, said that Sunday morning, they would move on toward Tapachula, Mexico, near the Guatemalan border.
"We don't yet know if we will make it to the (U.S.) border," he told AP, "but we are going to keep going as far as we can."
The group's decision to re-form capped a day in which Mexican authorities again refused mass entry to migrants on the bridge, instead accepting small groups for asylum processing and giving some visitor permits.
Mexico had sought to maintain order after a chaotic Friday in which some migrants rushed across the bridge only to be blocked by officers in riot gear.
Undaunted by the heavy police deployment on the bridge, many of the migrants made their way across to Mexico by crossing the Suchiate River, This, they accomplished by swimming, using ropes, or paying locals who charged modest sums to ferry people across the muddy expanse.
But the pace was slow, conditions hot and uncomfortable, and patience wearing thin.
"Please let us in, we want to work!" AP said migrants were calling out at the main gate.

Graham answered, “Nope, keep it simple.” Translation: Congress should punt on needed immigration reforms and just go ahead and give an amnesty. But without ending chain migration, mandating E-Verify, and ending the Visa Lottery, the DACA amnesty could result in virtually limitless new immigrants.

The damn Mexicans have used both Bush’s, Clinton, and Obama. They should be paying a huge tariff for tearing up our interstates.
Nothing to stop them as usual. Our Government is weak and ignorant. This includes Republicans as well as the communists Democrats. According to the latest guess we have 33 million illegals in the Country now. Give the current status in about 5 years we will have more illegals than citizens. I'm sick of excuses about stopping this invasion.
My late father worked in the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) during the depression before he went into the Marine Corps. Three hots and a cot and he sent money home to feed his family. They built roads, park, game preserves and other things.
For many leftists it is about more than just votes. They want lots and lots ‘colored’ people from Central America, Brazil, Sub-Saharan Africa and if they can figure it out the most backward parts of India along with many many Muzzlemen. The goal is to outnumber the very bad intolerant white middle class and gradually grind it down through ‘assimilation’ and ethnic violence. They want us dead folks, its that simple.
How about we announce military drills out in the desert with approval from the Mexican gov’t to make holes just south of the border, for defensive drills purposes!

I have an answer for Sen. Graham, those kids (who are no longer kids) can go home with their illegal alien parents or we will deport them.
If they leave on their own, they can apply to be Americans the right way.
If we have to deport them, they will never get in.
I’m done with our ‘representatives’ embracing illegals and criminal activity. I’ve had it.
Do they know that a tropical storm is due in Texas next week? Parents who subject their children to such a dangerous trip should be deported first.
