Heavily financed horde of Central American migrants has overwhelmed token resistance from Mexican military and advanced north toward Southern U.S. border. As described by Associated Press today: “growing army of migrants resumes march toward US.” This is a well financed, well organized, left-wing political operation strategically timed to reach the U.S. border and coincide with the 2018 mid-term election.
Estimates as to the number of economic migrants varies between 7,000 to 10,000 and the numbers are growing fast as they are now facilitated by, and joined by, ideological comrades within Mexico. The ‘invasion force’ is now more than two-miles long. The group claims to be fleeing violence in Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, yet the group has deployed violence against Mexican officials who are vastly outnumbered.
President Trump has requested that Mexican officials stop the advancement of the massive group and praised any efforts therein. However, it appears there is a disconnect between what actions U.S. officials think is happening – and the actual advancement on the ground. Those marching toward the U.S. are no longer finding any resistance.
As explained in a USA Today review: “Sunday the crowd was large and the mood mostly ecstatic. Olivin Castellanos, 58, a truck driver and mason from Villanueva, Honduras, said he took a raft into Mexico. He hopes to work in construction in the United States.” “No one will stop us, only God,” he said. “We knocked down the door and we continue walking.”
Initially the group was between 3,000 and 5,000. However, in the past 36 hours the numbers have grown considerably; seeming to double in size overnight.

At nest we will bet some half-assed deployment. No weapons or pistols at most. And it will be to set up internment centers, process them, provide surveillance, food, water, etc.
It won’t be companies of riflemen repelling an invasion force.

Actually, I’ve not seen a single Honduran flag. This is a leftist gig.
I cheered the Honduran people about 6 years ago when they removed Mel Zelaya for violating their constitution. I like the people in Honduras that I came to know. I know some in the US that are very good people. This is about Communists, Drug Lords and U.S. haters.
The talk is 10,000 people by tomorrow and another 40,000 Mexicans before they hit the border.
Not a good prescription. It will not be received well at all if that happens.

If the US Government refuses to do anything, maybe 10,000 Americans with rifles need to deploy to the border on all public lands, BLM, Forest, National Parks, etc.
Be prepared, but wait. Our military will not need much help if this becomes necessary.
There are enough armed citizens in TX that this will now become what they think it will.
If 50,000 hit the border, the military will be waiting. And it won’t be unarmed reserves.
I would think this is not in the Democrat’s interest.

We have more than enough cause to close the border until Mexico see’s the light.

They think that by creating scenes of high emotional impact, they can con people into voting for them.
While I agree they were very successful with that strategy, I don’t think it works for them any more.
I don’t think they have ANY idea how bad the Kavanaugh Affair went for them in terms of their ability to effect future propaganda efforts such as this one. Joe Average is no longer swallowing whatever NYT will print, and isn’t tuned into CNN anymore.
