"Trump is a hard act to follow. He has a number of unique features that make him who he is ..."

President Trump manages to get things done regardless of the radical, obstructive left AND, he is controlled by no one only the Congress and Senate are controlled by the lobbyist...so watch what happens now with the 'pantsuit and the lizard'.

Probably not, but he can't be president for ever. The one thing we do not want is a rat president, especially the likes of Hillary Rotten Clinton, or like the arrogant pos former occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

Am I right or not?

Trump is a unique force. These things are also cyclical. Post Trump will likely end with a Democrat in the Oval Office. It will take that and the disaster that ensues to open the door again for opposition. That person or persons whom rise to the challenge are hardly yet known today.

It’s funny how not one poster on this thread thinks Mike Pence is the right guy to succeed Trump. :)

Just going by the amazing absence of anything resembling a spine by the rest of the GOP, epitomized by the silent Pence during the White House pelosi/schumer meeting, when Trump leaves their will be a huge vacuum on the Republican side. And when the democrats rush in to fill it the republicans will issue a deep sigh of relief. Republicans just don’t have the strength of conviction to stand up to the endless assault from the lying democrats, the biased media, and the growing number of leftist special interset/social terrorist groups. Not to mention the Leftist controlled social media and major corporations. Republicans are more comfortable being the democrats little brother, just tagging along.

Sounds good. I’ll never vote again for a career politician for POTUS again. Ever.

Haley - NO. She is a snake. Remember the Confederate statue and flag issue?

Cotton - NO. Philosophically correct, he hasn’t got the charisma or personality

Cruz - NO. He barely beat that freak Beto
and has the personality of nails on a blackboard.

Cotton sits on the Senate intel committee that is openly colluding with the Mueller Coup. Ted Cruz is tweeting nonsense while Rome burns. Rand Paul is a beltway theater careerist. All hat. No cattle. No thanks. No politicians for me. I’m done with them all post Trump.

“Doesn’t matter.”

I agree. Expect the left to use the same template going forward. And, like the proverbial frog in boiling water, their brain dead voters will not even be aware their masters once again molding their minds.

Using loathsome non-stop accusations (the Schumers/Pelosis/Waters/Cortezs/Schitts/CNN/PMSNBC/MSM have become a better more improved Goebbels) along with the persistent ‘F*** (insert name here)’, and folks will even deny (like is now happening with people who support Trump) they support the guy.

After 4 (or 8) years, the country will be so zonked from enduring the hateful disruption, that many voters will be happy to let the Dems run the place just to put an end to it. Of course by then the water will be boiling.

Where now do we go for liberty?

Tom Cotton is the only name that has any appeal for me. After Trump we will get to choose from the usual RINO suspects. If one of them wins they will walk back most of Trumps achievements in their first term. It will be business as usual in the swamp.

Pres. Trump should make them part of his cabinet.
Along with Sarah Palin.

What about JIM JORDAN?

I would LOVE to see Trump establish a conservative/populist political party after he leaves office.

The GOP is totally compromised.

... the good news is that this movement was never about one guy. When libs and their Fredocon pets start babbling about a “personality cult,” let them run their dumbness-holes. Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake. Our delight at the effectiveness of Donald Trump at battling our useless ruling class is not about the “Trump” part; it’s about the “effectiveness” part.

Trump is the avatar of our collected resentments, complaints and fury over our betrayal by an elite that was supposed to be running our institutions on our behalf and that is instead running them for its own sordid benefit.

You're right - we stay with the Constitution... Trump is a reflection of our awareness ... others will come up to help us after his eight years are up...
