Oh, it’s not just NYC - it’s the whole state. The SOB Cuomo won 14 out of 62 counties in NY - if we had an electoral college he would have been slaughtered.
I haven’t read the bill, but inferred from other comments that it actually allows perinatal infanticide as well. That would definitely put it in conflict with existing US law.
If the DNA of the unborn child is human and different from the mother, the father, and any other human, then how can anyone deny that it is a distinct human life? Once the humanity of the unborn is recognized, all of the pro-abortion arguments fade away (rape, incest, privacy, etc.).
I’m surprised the Island of New York hasn’t sunk or flipped over yet with the heavy burden it bears.
It is the good citizens who vote the bastards in, so how do we get them out?
I’m having a real problem trying to understand this medically speaking. I’m a physician. Can someone explain to me, what condition would require aborting the fetus at term? If there is an emergency that threatens the mother, these are medical decisions, not voluntary abortion ones.
I can only suspect that deciding to terminate a pregnancy at term would be that the mother for some reason doesn’t want the baby. Ok, fine, deliver it and adopt it out, but give me a reason. You just found out it’s a boy, and you wanted a girl? You’re having a fight with the father?

More accurate: "Every woman has the fundamental right to choose to get pregnant, whether she intends to carry the pregnancy to term, to give birth to a child, or to have an abortion."
I think there are very few people at this point who believe that pregnancy just happens regardless of the mother's behavior. The woman makes the choice to get pregnant, often because she knows she can snuff the baby later.
