Pressed into the throng, I couldn’t help but agree. At his first re-election rally in New England, President Trump’s supporters had filled the arena’s 12,000 seats. Denied entry, thousands more filled an adjacent plaza in which the campaign had erected a jumbotron.

Cool! I was in the nosebleed seats but stepped down closer to ground level to get some better shots. and as for good looking women..I got talking to one but didn't get her number. She was from New York so it would have been long distance! ;-)

I went to lots of MLB games and sat in good seats behind the home team dugout. Then on a whim went with friends to just get in line for general admission seats. The people there were having a great time, cheering, talking to people around them, and enjoying the event. It was eye opening. I’d bet the overflow crowd had as much fun and enjoyment as the folks inside. The folks that moved into the isles toward the front met people they might have missed. These rallies are like neighborhood yard parties. Patriots getting together with fellow patriots. Way to go to the Granite State.
Hardly neutral... This is what he chose to highlight at the beginning of the article.

And throughout the article there’s a smarmy smell and a sense of disappointment on his part at having to report it as a success.
So, though not “neutral”, definitely not “bat shit crazy” like most of the other propaganda organs.
The NFL is jealous, not to mention MLB! If either league had only that few empty seats during their so-called “sell outs,” they would be ecstatic.
There isn’t even 1/100 of this enthusiasm on the dem side.

I couldn’t detect real hostility but perhaps surprise. Being English, maybe he’s observing both sides like strange alien species.
The mainstream media told us that Hillary Clinton rallies were full of enthusiasm. They told us that Donald Trump had no following. They lied to us.

Now just imagine if he would do that in California. It would disillusion Democrats everywhere and be worth 10 rallies in Trump-friendly states.
Those upper tier seats remained empty because the Fire Marshall shut them down because he permitted Trump supporters to fill the floor by the podium. The Arena was near or at over capacity (12,000 people in the Arena and 5,000 people outside watching large outdoor TVs.) Trump broke all records for any event held there with ease,beating out Elton John!!!
You folks should also note that the Iowa State Fair runs from August 8th to August, 18th and after last weekend the Democrat candidates for 2020 POTUS run were nowhere to found....Why? The people & voters at the Fair found the Democrat candidates to be boring, incompetent & America Haters, “ALL”!!!
We were there too - what struck us was the huge number of young people. It was a terrific, rowdy rally.
Yep - always crowded - and if the left “hoards a bunch of tickets, it makes no difference - if there’s room you get in even w/o a ticket...until the gates are shut due to capacity being met.

We need to talk to people now about what (Joe Biden) can do.” High energy and chants of “Go, Joe! Go, Joe!” could be heard throughout the restaurant from supporters and interested voters of all ages.
“He’s experienced, he knows the ropes, the rules in Washington, (and) he understands politics,” said 66-year-old Ann Aernecke of Derry, about the qualities she likes about Biden. Her husband Bob, 65, called the push-back from Republicans who do not agree with Democratic Party ideals “terrible,” adding that the majority of the ideas presented by Democrats are “pro-humanity.”
Both said they hope Biden will be able to win the Granite State in the Democratic Party primary. Manchester resident Rick Giberson, 67, said he is voting for Biden because he likes that Biden is “old-fashioned in a lot of ways, and that he seems to be an honest person.” Giberson said he has followed Biden’s political career, and noted that he “always tries to be the best he can for us.”
