Also, let me echo others and thank you for the thread. You provide one of the best services on the forum with these.

Per Trump’s twitter thread...

https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1167030041303310336?s=19

Hurricane Dorian looks like it will be hitting Florida late Sunday night. Be prepared and please follow State and Federal instructions, it will be a very big Hurricane, perhaps one of the biggest!

Philippians 4:6,7......Do not be anxious about anything but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God

...and the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your heart and mind through Christ Jesus

I am clinging to this verse this morning....
....I woke up in the middle of the night thinking about all my family and friends in the path of this storm.......it could be heading straight at them ......they are in harm’s way
I prayed what is the best thing to do to help???.....I know Franklin Graham’s Rapid Response Team is positioning.....as well as other organizations....
.....A very good source this morning has said it could be a Category 5

That would devastate our Space Coast community!

My husbands sisters are elderly and infirm.....can’t even travel
My daughter’s family is in Orlando.....it will probably be hit hard too!

May God please turn this storm out to sea!!!!!

Thanks for the thread. I’m sitting and watching in Wilmington, NC where I rode out Florence last year.

Here is the Weatherbell projection from this morning. Bastardi always seems to have a contrarian opinion. He was, however, pretty damn accurate with Irma.

We need to get some good pictures of 'Cape Canaveral'. Our place that saw alot of space history may disappear after next week...

Disneyworld may need some repairs after next week...

Do the forecasters know what they’re talking about? In the past few days, that storm went quite a bit north of what was predicted. If I were guessing, my guess wouldn’t be that it turns due west for a direct FL hit. But I know nothing, so I’m probably wrong.

Thanks from Orlando. Today’s projected path is grim but much time and many variables remain. By the Grace of God we here have weathered many storms with little damage or loss... Praise the Lord!

One of the current models has the storm slicing through Orlando and St. Pete then making a u-turn in the Gulf and coming back to strike the western coast of Florida a second time. That would be a bad scenario, maybe not “worst case” but that would definitely do a lot of damage.
