More than a surrogate - an actual mother not married to the father since these are two guys (more or less)

Under U.S. law they would have to go through adoption procedures to make the kid theirs.
To: RightGeek
The Canadian surrogate....no relation to either men....had the kid in Canada. Canadian citizen by birth.
Nothing to do with their "married status".
To: RightGeek
Interesting intersection, of surrogate parenting, and legal recognition of same-sex marriage, with an international angle to it.
To: RightGeek
Under the law (I think...) The US citizen sperm donor has to marry the surrogate mother in order to even have a chance at citizenship.

Too confusing. The first names sound feminine but are attached to beings that appear to have some Y chromosomes. At best, or should I say least worst, one of them is the bio parent sperm donor while the other is... well, nothing.

A real judge would throw this out of his or her court.

My wife and I looked into international adoption years ago, and it would have been the same for us. We can get the names changed on the birth certificate after the fact, but the fact is we would NOT be the child’s biological parents, so we would have jumped through many hoops. So, we eventually got another domestic adoption. Plenty of hoops, but easier ones.

That’s why faggots are UNnatural. God and “nature” NATURALLY makes it so for separate species to produce. Men and women shag and create life. 2 faggots do the same and give birth to AIDS.

Call me cynical, but why did they use a surrogate in Canada unless they were planning on causing trouble and making a name for themselves? I’m sure they could have found a surrogate here. It’s like the gay activists trying to force a Baker to bake their wedding cake. I dont believe there were no other willing bakers.

I am guessing this law was in effect LONG before Trump became POTUS? But the headline infers it is due to Trump, that they are having citizenship issues for the child.
