Agreed. It’s as ridiculous as a remake of True Grit.

Yeah Ted! Pick up that important mantel of not remaking a Rob Reiner movie and meeting with a B-actress over gun consfiscation. And this moron wonders how a bigger idiot like Beto almost beat him? Maybe Texas should tell him why he’s there in the first place! Texas Nothing! Twitter, Everything!

The nucleus of so much greatness in our former civilization is in Victorian England. I'm fascinated by the technology, science, literature, thought, etc of that era. It's the starting point for the greatness. So, yeah, maybe it's more like a century of greatness for Western civilization, with the decline becoming irreversible in the late 1980s.
One can't help but wonder if great nations giving up a strong national identity leads to their downfall.

Well, I’d say in before the Ted Derangement folks comment, but never can seem to beat them to the thread.
It’s like some folks sit around all day watching for a Ted Cruz thread so they can bash one of the five or so conservative senators we have in Washington.

He was a big man. My wife met him back in the 80's, and said had had a can of Coke in his hand; it looked like it was a child's toy. His hand completely swallowed it. But she said he was like a big teddy bear to everyone he met.

Above all, don’t remake “Robin Hood: Men in Tights”.

Would music be considered “artifacts”?
There is absolutely no question the best music in the history of mankind was produced “in the 60’s through the 80’s”.
To: grania
Ive always compared sampling in raps and hip hop to how the Romans reused statuary in things like the Arch of Constantine. Definitely a sign of decline.
To: traderrob6
Would music be considered artifacts?I think it would, since music now has a physical component.

Theyve run out of ideas folks, remakes are their only option anymore.
Not really. Hollywood is ran by bankers. The will not take risks on anything that they don’t think will make money. That’s why you see the independent film companies in Georgia taking more risks and Hollywood stuck on stupid with Super heros and making Disney cartoons into CGI. Waiting on ‘Song of the South’ zippidy do dah

Hollywood is morally bankrupt. They no longer have any creativity. They are so far Left now, whatever they touch, they destroy.
