FULL TITLE: 'Not one cent': Hunter Biden tells ABC News he received NO money from China — but his bank records tell a different story
Financial records from Morgan Stanley show funds from anonymous LLCs in China going directly into Biden's account
On Tuesday's radio program, Glenn Beck, Stu Burguiere, and chief researcher Jason Buttrill talked about Hunter Biden's interview on "Good Morning America" Tuesday, during which the former vice president's son denied any wrongdoing in his business dealings with either Ukraine or China.
During the interview, ABC News' Amy Robach brought up President Donald Trump's accusation that Hunter Biden "got 1.5 Billion Dollars from China despite no experience and for no apparent reason."
"The president has repeatedly said that you received $1.5 billion dollars from China, despite no experience and for no apparent reason," said Robach, while rolling her eyes dismissively. "Obviously, fact-checkers have said that that is not true. Have you received any money from that business dealing?"
"No," Hunter asserted. "Not one cent ... no one ever paid me $1.5 billion."
In this clip, Glenn noted Hunter's intentionally misleading semantics, pointing out that Hunter's company, which he co-owned with Devon Archer and Christopher Heinz, former Secretary of State John Kerry's stepson, would actually have received the funds.
Jason questioned how ABC News or Robach could conduct a credible interview without so much as mentioning financial records from Morgan Stanley that show numerous transfers of funds from anonymous LLCs in Ukraine, China, and elsewhere going directly into Hunter Biden's account.
"Journalists looked through Morgan Stanley records and they found that anonymous LLCs were coming from China and Ukraine, going directly into Hunter Biden's account. His account, directly into it!" Jason said.
"We have the Morgan Stanley file," Glenn added. "We know offshore China was paying [Hunter] and putting it directly into his Morgan Stanley account."

I hate this turn of phrase that automatically gives cover to whomever it's written about.
"wrongdoing" is such a nebulous term - a crooked Democrat would say they do no wrong, and Republicans do wrong all the time.

I saw some of that interview. He sounded just like his father - same lines, same smiling face through the lies.
Hunter probably means he received no actual dollar bills or some such twisted, deceptive thing so he in his mind could think it not wrong to have had money put in his account.
Didn’t see the interview, but I’m sure ABC was throwing softballs. We all know the fix is in. Imagine the difference in tenor if one of the Trump sons was in the hot seat?
If that is the interview that Shawn excerpted on his show yesterday, Hunter sounded like he was nervous and dishonest. Although there was one place where he actually admitted that he got his positions because of his name, then backtracked by trying to claim that it is difficult to hide being the VP’s son.
I’m trying to think of other circumstances where children of powerful politicians use their names to get cushy positions. The only other I can think of is Chelsea Clinton, when she got that high paying gig at NBC (?) just after graduating from college.
Do these children of politicians have any clue that real people have to work hard and build up a lot of experience to get the kind of job that they are simply given on the basis of who their parents are? And if they do have a clue, do they have no sense of pride that would cause them to refuse these quid-pro-quo appointments and say they would rather work their way up like ordinary people do?

Biden is doing that one right now: “There is no evidence that we did anything wrong”
Not “We didn’t do anything wrong” but “there is NO EVIDENCE that we did anything wrong”
So they hid all the evidence?

The money went to his partnered-up company. Technically, he’s correct...he didn’t receive the money. The company did.

If only it was their names that got them these payoffs.
In reality, it is from laundering much bigger amounts of money from the US Treasury, divulging US secrets, or selling US policy decisions, at the cost of American workers and taxpayers, that they get these payoffs.
Not even pennies on the dollar, they typically squander at least in the thousands for every dollar they are bribed. They are desperate to sell their offices, and the corrupters know that they only need to pay tiny percentages.
But they won’t pay just for a name - there has to be some tangible value on the table, before they start handing over hard cash, for Hunter to waste on drugs and hookers.
