I’ve used this two minute video on Down’s children in my Confirmation classes with great results:

Thanks for the ping for Sarah's list. You didn't get one? I will need to go back and double checker her list then. :)
No, I got your Ping! Just wanted you to know that I was spreading the word! ;)
Totally agree - worked the Special Olympics at Keesler AFB for many years and the Downs kids are open-faced with God’s Love showing clearly.
Made me very sad one day when a co-worker who had a Downs child retorted, “Yeah, right” when I mentioned how beautiful her child was.
Very dear friends of ours had a Down’s boy. He was a very special person all of his short life until he passed away from related medical issues. My children grew up playing with him, it slowly dawned on them that he was not like them but it didn’t matter to them. They loved him just as he was, he was a very lucky boy to be born into a family that all loved him just as he was. Everyone that knew him felt he taught them far more, and brought them more joy than he required with his special needs. His funeral in his middle 20s was packed with standing room only in the back.
It breaks my heart to know if that very special baby that was a gift from God had been gifted to another family they might have ended his life before he was able to live. Coldly taking away the gift he gave by teaching all of us about overcoming the struggle of life that we are all dealt in one way or another.
Thanks, KC!
My last pregnancy ended in miscarriage, but that tragedy became even more unbearable when someone on the expecting board I frequented announced that she had terminated her pregnancy at that same time due to a DS diagnosis.
I still ask God why He didn’t give the DS child to me, instead, as I would have never aborted him/her. Heartbreaking. But I know that in all things God works for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.
I had same experience with my son. I was 35. Told doc, I didn’t care, that I’d take what God gave me. He was born healthy and is a fully functioning obnoxious adult..lol
Thank you, sir.
We have more than our share of them for sure.
Bless you dear FRiend!
You are welcome Trisham :)
I don’t get it. We had a lot of them saying terrible things last week over her divorce.
You are welcome :)
You Betcha! ;)
I thought so too, you are welcome :)
It was also good seeing the Sarah, Todd and the whole family together, it had been quite a while since I saw a photo with all of them.
I attribute it to jealousy or envy.
Or just plain internet meanness.
It was the scariest few minutes of my life. But that’s why you have your baby at a fully equipped hospital. (As long as you make it there, lol.)
