So right on. The potential silver lining to our China driven, "just-in-time" manufacturing, inventory & supply is embracing MAGA and a return to an American first economy. The Chamber of Commerce folks have (potentially) brought us to our knees. I am so very glad DJT will be delivering the message tonight rather than some lefty azzhat.

Or, for an older population at least, you could just follow the 705 confirmed cases taken off the Princess cruise ship. So far, four have died and 691 cases remain open. By the end of March we should have an exact figure for the fatality rate for that sort of population, probably even with additional info on the impact of certain pre-existing conditions, given the large sample size.

It won’t give us the infection rate, because all 705 are confirmed cases, but it will give us the fatality rate, or at least a good estimate (instead of all the back of the envelope stuff we’ve been seeing.)
