Just my luck they'll assign me Mr. Wu Hu Flu in Wuhan, China.
Is there ANYTHING that the federal government can't fix? That is the most remarkable collection of people on earth.
To: yesthatjallen
Is there anything more dangerous than a democrap in search of a problem to “fix”?

What if you socially isolate and enjoy it?

Thats why Rep. Tim Walberg (R-Mich.) and I introduced H.R. 4859, the bipartisan Protecting Older Americans from Social Isolation Act of 2019, in October of last year to protect older adults from the negative health outcomes caused by chronic loneliness.
Why is the solution to every problem more legislation?
Who is against this? can’t vote against this if you are a politician.
VERY LITTLE LEGISLATON IS HELD TO ACCOUNTIBILTY ON SOLVING THE PROBLEM.

I can understand the elderly are more prone to this. Older folks don’t get out as much as others, and , people of a certain age have often seen spouses and other family and friends pass away.
While this can be an issue to be aware of, I hope someine doesn’t decide the solution is some massive new government program. Not every societal ill needs to be “solved”, by some government program.

They want me to quarantine myself, so I’m quarantining myself.
So, leave me alone.

The next step in the nanny state. The government will assign everyone ‘a friend’.
Coalition to End Social Isolation and Loneliness
This is just another nonprofit looking for money to feel good about doing something.
There will be a lot of activity, but no accomplishing.

"What if you socially isolate and enjoy it?"Sorry....You will be assigned a friend anyway but you will get to choose from one from the 15 acceptable and government approved genders.

Good question. For those guys, its always more legislation, and more borrowed money to pay for it.

The War on Intractable Pain Patients creates patients who lose friends, are isolated due to being confined to bed, or clumsy wheel chairs. Doctors make it worse as they don’t debunk the stupid “you get addicted” on one script or shot of Pain Meds. BS. Many have had 28 or more surgeries, tried all the snake oil. Been on the same dosage for 2 decades. You are one accident or disease from joining them.
