Many years ago, I told my late son one day, I would pay for his hair cut which he needed. So he took an electric racer and a regular racer, to shave all his hair off.
My hubby used to cut our sons' hair when they were little, and we still have the clippers. I gave him a trim, and in return, he helped me restore my fictional hair color. My hair stylist is a nice conservative gal. She hasn't re-opened in violation of the governor's wishes, but she sells hair products and gift certificates online. I bought myself a nice gift certificate to use in the future. Business owners are finding a lot of ways to survive with a little help from their friends.
Our son has started growing a Corona-beard. I haven't gotten used to seeing it on him yet. We had a zoom family meeting a week or so back and it was a new sight for me. His moustache doesn't fill in nicely yet so it's just the beard for now. My husband says his moustache was thin at that age too, so there is hope!
I spent well over 40 years ignoring the laws on commerce. Not that I ignored them all the time in all instances.
Who didn’t mow a lawn without informing the tax man, or getting a business license? Cut up cord wood, and place an ad in the Little Nickel? I don’t remember getting a W-2 from the newspaper either.
