IIRC, during the Ferguson riots a store had a sign that declared it was a black owned business. Didn’t protect it one bit.
Rioting will end when all of the stuff worth looting is gone.

Since the people of Minn don’t seem to have the will to take charge over what is going on there, perhaps they need call in the Korean Merchants Association from LA?
Detroit, 1967: No black-owned stores. No jobs to be found. Republican policies spurred an economic recovery in 1969.
Minneapolis, 2020: Black-owned stores are shut-down (COVID) with jobs waiting to be reclaimed.
Black-owned stores will go out of business and black unemployment will stay high. The expected recovery will not happen in Minneapolis.

Strangely these mobs aren’t typically so impulsive.

An acquaintance of mine owned a small chain of “off price” grocery stores back in the 20th century. He opened one in what used to be called the “central district” (very poor and black neighborhood that has since been gentrified). The prices there were higher than in any of his other stores because he had to compensate for the rampant shoplifting.
Ultimately, he just gave up and had to close the store.
The ANTIFA thugs could care less which stores they burn.
I saw some Black store owners interviewed on one of the lefty media channels, they were upset and embarrassed at their brothers and sisters and they should be. so called leaders like jerkson and Sharpton should be at these places demanding peace.
A couple of years ago I volunteered to be on a panel to review and rate presentations being given by some high-school seniors.
One of them was a black kid who did his presentation on black owned businesses. And I have to say he did quite a thorough job on his research and made a very nice presentation.
Afterwards though there was a Q&A which was quite disturbing. I asked him what got him interested in this topic and he replied that it always made him angry “to go into a store in my neighborhood and see that it was owned by an Indian, or an AAAAA-rab.”
Fired-up on the topic of racism and he couldn’t even hear it coming out of his own mouth. The hate and vitriol spread by Sharpton & Co. over the decades has done immense damage.
I’m not sure it’s emotion. Hauling stuff out of Target is just plain theft.
