Here is the city’s message in full, issued May 28, after several days and nights of rioting. Here is the final sentence:
The city urges everyone to exercise caution and stay safe while participating in demonstrations, including wearing masks and physical distancing as much as possible to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The city has made hundreds of masks available to protesters this week.
Protesters? Earth to Minneapolis Mayor Moron: Rioters torching whole sections of your city are not protesters. Many are professional agitators from out of town. Locals who loot stores are opportunists, many of them career criminals. The city’s message took zero notice of these elementary realities.

Trump calls them thugs and twitter has a fit, but Obama called them thugs back during Baltimore riots and media didn’t blink. Obama even called them CRIMINALS not protestors.
Yet here we are with the protestor word being used and they all collectively got together to decide to call them this not rioters. Your media at work as propaganda machines.
We live in bizarro world now...wrong is right, lies over truth. If this tragic display of hate from the left doesn’t make each and everyone one of you reading this sign up to help republican candidates, I don’t know what will.

None of this crap would have happened
I am surprised that more property owners did not do so. There were one or two here and there who were armed and turned the looters waya. One Pawn Shop owner shot a looter. If that had been the rule, all this would be over now.
You get the behavior that you reward.
But-but-but you are not SUPPOSED to shoot the looters. They got RIGHTS, you know? Of course, I have no idea just what those rights might be, as there does not seem to be very much reciprocity of the part of the looters.
Derek Chauvin, the officer seen on video with a knee on Floyd’s neck Monday as Floyd begged for air, was one of six officers who fatally shot 42-year-old Wayne Reyes in 2006 after the man brandished a shotgun at the cops. Amy Klobuchar failed to get charges brought against the police officer involved in George Floyd’s death while serving as a county attorney in 2006.
So if we are going to be laying blame, trace it back to the light-hearted manner in which the cops loyal to the local political machine are treated with great delicacy.

It’s not about your health
Mayor Moron Destroys America’s Major Cities that headline does not narrow things down at all.
Because this kind of rioting anarchy shit doesn't happen in the country, only in the cities. I wouldn't even know it was happening had I not had the internet to read about current events and order products online occasionally. I don't watch TV, read newspapers or magazines and seldom listen to the radio except for Rush on a rare occasions.
I saw the video of the cop slowly kill the Floyd fella with his knee and it disgusted me to no end. But I didn't think it was about racism. The cop had multiple complaints of unprofessional behavior on his personnel record before this incident. At some point during all of that "not following the rules", he shouldn't have been a cop anymore. I even read that democRAT presidential candidate and prospect on Biden's VP list, Amy Klobuchar, a public prosecutor at the time in Minneapolis, declined to prosecute the man for previous offenses. Why does this not even surprise me?
And now I read yesterday, that the Minnesota governor has put that radical politician, and Minnesota AG, Kieth Ellison, in charge of the prosecution of the cop, and he is an avowed and active supporter of the group, Antifa, that is burning down Minneapolis over this incident. How fair and blanked is he going to be?
At my age, I don't want the drama. Let them burn down the liberal cities for all I care. I will continue to live in my alternate universe out here on my cattle farm.
