She wants to make sure that the stores are around for the next round of looting and rioting.
They should build these Walmarts so they can be sealed against riots...
Reopen the stores but add a surcharge to cover any future looting. This has happened before and it will happen again as long as demoncrats are in charge.

Except when they are gentrified in which case such war torn areas become prosperous literally overnight. They would be nice places to live except the spoiled hipsters who inhabit them can‘t seem to survive in an area where you can’t swing a dead cat without hitting at least 3 kale restaurants
That’s kind of funny, because Walmart didn’t make it into Chicago until 2006, after years of opposition from community groups and unions and in the City Council. Before they got approval, they built a store right across the city line, in Evergreen Park, as I recall. Live and learn, I guess.

I don’t think residents are shopping in those neighborhoods.
The cops have vacated some of those areas because they are too dangerous to go into at night.
Listened to the Chicago scanner the other night. Somebody had a traffic accident and waited two hours for a squad car which never showed up. They called back and said they’d be in the next day to file the report. Folks...it’s so bad even the Chicago media doesn’t even report it.

If her police force cannot protect against looting, I see no point of any stores sticking around.
Why not? They love the Bush family, and Mitt Romney now too.....the GOPe are just villainous foils in a staged faux political drama.....Trump is actually a threat to the status quo that all these political theatrics are designed to protect
I lived in Lake Placid, NY when they tried to build a Walmart on the outskirts of town. The liberals decided it was not in the character of the town so the locals got screwed and had to drive a long way to pay higher prices. The liberals didn’t care about us one iota. Eventually Walmart went away.
