Given what’s been occurring as of late, I must admit I’m a bit surprised.

I wouldn’t put it past them to have COVID patients attend the rallies in hopes of infecting people.

There are tests before you can enter. They have medical staff on hand.

18 Jun: ANSA: WHO official basts Naples Cup-win celebrations
ROME - A World Health Organization (WHO) official has blasted the celebrations that took place on the streets of Naples after Napoli beat Juventus on Wednesday in the Italian Cup

Big crowds of fans went out to celebrate with little regard for the respect of social distancing and other rules to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Dr Ranieri Guerra, the WHO’s Assistant Director-General for Strategic Initiatives, said the fans’ behaviour was “reckless”...

Naples Mayor Luigi de Magistris:played down the row:
“Yesterday the winner was the contagion of happiness,” he said

8 Jun: NPR: The Coronavirus Crisis: Even In A Pandemic, WHO Believes That Public Protests Are Important
by Pien Huang & Allison Aubrey
In the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, the World Health Organization took time at its daily press conference to address another pressing issue: the wave of protests against police violence and racial injustice...
The protests are now spreading around the world to Europe, Africa and other regions.
“WHO fully supports equality and the global movement against racism. We reject discrimination of all kinds,” said WHO director-general Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus on June 8...

And in this day and age, the USSC does whatever it pleases, as do all Federal judges. Anyone of which can and may still issue an illegal ruling that the rally must not proceed.

We are in a post constitutional and legal era. We are now in a dictatorship of the oligarchy (or proletariat if you prefer)

Please, God, let them be mask-less.

Rather, “please God, give them wisdom”. It’s not too wise to go inside a building, with a huge crowd, and NOT wear a mask right now. Covid19 numbers have gone up since we (in Oklahoma) have had loosened restrictions. Why advise people NOT to wear a mask, just so you can say the government’s not going to tell you what to do? We’re close to Tulsa, but we’re both over 65, with underlying health problems that prevent us from attending, but we’d wear masks if we WERE to attend, even without the health and age concerns, because we’ve got COMMON SENSE.

That is why the rally was held in deep red state Oklahoma. I doubt if the State Supreme Court will even hear it, let alone grant an injunction.
It’s always great when the Dems through their money away though.

“we’re both over 65, with underlying health problems that prevent us from attending, but we’d wear masks if we WERE to attend, even without the health and age concerns, because we’ve got COMMON SENSE.”

We’re both over 70, with histories of pneumonia and other things — small-ish things — but things. We would not wear masks. If masks were mandatory, we wouldn’t attend.

I’m not a Stinkastan Fauci-following drone. Everybody dies. It’s always something. When I leave here, I don’t want family to be ashamed of me croaking in my fashion mask of novelty “Hello Kitty” quilting fabric.

And I definitely agree: “Please, God, give EVERYBODY wisdom. And please protect all who attend.”

Covid19 numbers have gone up since we (in Oklahoma) have had loosened restrictions.

Another day, same old fear mongering sh*t.
Don't you ever get tired of this nonsense?
First of all positives have gone up all over the country because over 22 million have been tested (and counting) versus less than a million tests just a few weeks ago.
Second of all the percentage of positives from new tests keeps going DOWN.
Thirdly, most people who test postive are totally asymptomatic. Perfectly healthy with no signs of sickness whatsoever.
And fourthly most masks don't even work. Almost all the masks people wear will NOT stop the the virus from getting through. The N95 masks are much better but most people simply don't have those.
The masks you see people wearing in the streets are garbage. They don't work and they block your oxygen intake and accumulate bacteria.

The court won’t stop it and shouldn’t. The First Amendment to the United States Constitution states “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress ...,p> Just curious. Since they're fighting in state court, will the attorneys argue that "Congress" didn't make the law prohibiting freedom of assembly, but the state of Oklahoma wants to protect its citizenry by handing down edicts?

The state of Oklahoma never had statewide lockdowns in the first place. The governor is 100% behind Trump on this rally. Trump mentioned he spoke to him on Wednesday.
They are not ones taking legal action here.

I’m Catholic and I believe when your time is up...it’s up. I find that most ppl who aren’t religious believe in wearing a mask everywhere and staying home “to save lives.” As a believer, I use common sense hygiene precautions like frequent hand washing/sanitizer, staying home if sick, etc. In reality, you’re more likely to die in a car accident than of CV-19, but we still live our lives and travel by automobile, and nobody blinks an eye. But because it’s Trump and an election year, our way of life has to be upended like this to ensure Dumbocrats have a tiny chance of winning in November. 😠

We wear N95 type masks because it’s common sense, not because the Fauci worm said to. God expects us to use wisdom.
