I’m cursed with a nearly eidetic memory and in the 2008 election, she voted for O because she said she despised Hillary.
In ‘16, she vehemently denied ever saying such a thing.
She’s for Biden now because *again*, Bernie got screwed over.
Everything bad about Trump is totally true, “Covid” is a death sentence, etc etc etc.
No point in trying to offer another view because she’ll just slam the phone in my ear.
I’ve tried.
She’s really a good person at heart and I love her but she believes the craziest things.

A hay hauler I use told me yesterday that his in laws are no longer welcomed in his house with his wife agreeing. Seems the in laws have told all of their children if they did not vote demonrat, the grandkids would regret it.

A good biker friend has been hunkered down since this started and none of us have seen him in almost a year.
I ran into him in Hobby Lobby and he came out to talk to hubby in the car.
Out of nowhere, he says “Trump is a lowlife who hates the military”.
Oh boy.
Between myself and Himself, going off on for that crap, it was a mess.
He kept talking, like he does, and hubby just started rolling up the window and said “Have a nice life” and I drove away.
I told hubby “OMG, if he says that crap in front of another of our mutual friends, I would love to be there”
Welp, he went straight to our hanging out place and said it to him.
The friend told him he was welcome to his opinions but from now on, he would have to express them to other people, somewhere else.
And they were best friends for years.
*Why*, after not seeing any of us for so long, his first foray back into biker society was verbal suicide, I will never know.

*Many* years ago, I was engaged to a guy who, for some stupid reason, thought it would be funny to pin me down, straddle my hips and hold my hands over my head.
He was twice my weight and a football player but I’d ridden bareback all my life.
I stopped struggling after a bit and I was LIVID.

Camera views back and forth between Pence, to Harris, to Pence and the large fly just appeared on Pence’s head with a return camera view, easy to see as contrast against hair, didn’t see it move, didn’t see it fly away, then gone after camera back and forth. Was there long enough to be noticed, as a distraction, unusual not to see it move or in flight, and gone with a subsequent view.
Possible that just a fly. But i am now sceptical of anything/ anybody that yes, it is possible to see as a result of ‘someone-more-clever’s mischief’ at the very least.
On the Fox video/thread, the fly showed up at 113:27 and remained until 114:17 never to be seen again. It was definitely gone at 115:33 yet how did commentators declare it remained for over 2 minutes? Did they have a different angle of Pence? I would like to view that one as well.
I wish I could trust the MSM, but that ended years ago.

I have one...it works but you have to be close to them. The big test will be if it kills bees that wake up that have hibernated in pieces of firewood I bring in. Windex has been my primary weapon in the past. The ammonia kills them every time. Have fun.

It was a distraction. The next day the topic of conversation was the change of the presidential candidates debate to remote announced before the day's news cycle kicked off. The main discussions about the vice-presidential debate was the fly. After the first presidential debate the discussion was about the tone and lack of civility. The actual policy differences and substantive issues are not being discussed because that doesn't help Biden.
You are not alone. I ditched my “best friend” of 30+ years at the beginning of the rona. It was a very good decision.

The VP debate NEVER matters in the big picture.
The expense and effort you are suggesting that would be made to accomplish this would be pretty big. Certainly, not a good pay off for an event that did not matter.
I am not trying to be a jerk about this. I just think there are a lot of “conspiracy” theories being tossed around. Its just going to get worse over the next three weeks. We need to focus our energy on what matters—not spend our time looking at stuff that is not likely.
