Kennedy on point, as usual. The courts have become nothing less than the route used for end runs around the the Congress. And what’s worse, IMO, the Congress has become complicit in this travesty.

I watched the video and I have stayed away from processed foods for years now if I use ANY oil at all it is olive oil, I had a feeling that the obesity problem had to be from fast foods ect. HOWEVER our young people are not outside the way we used to be WE never wanted to come inside, we were on roller skates bicycles, jump ropes, tether ball, hop scotch, constantly moving the young people today are parked in front of computers gaming, chatting, and NOW school!!! This is SO UNHEALTHY starting out life obese just gets worse with age!!

She is absolutely well qualified, although I take the ABA opinions with a grain of salt since they became highly politicized at least since the eighties. As for lawyer histrionics, perhaps we are having a semantic disagreement. By lawyer histrionics, I mean the performances and machinations many lawyers use to intimidate witnesses and manipulate the emotions of jury members. Those happen frequently in trial courts but not at the appellate court where Judge Barrett has presided. There are no witnesses or juries in appellate courts, only lawyers debating each other. I hope that clears my comment for you.

Actually they started right after WW II. I started High School in 1952 and they started dropping Math requirements. Thee certainly were no commies teaching in my state at the time, well at least none so brave that they would reveal their true feelings on the matter.
