Actually, I predicted this. The Dems might win the battle (presidential election), but they lost the war.
The "blue wave" never happened. In fact, Trump's biggest achievement was strengthening the GOP, which took an impressive number of seats in Congress. (Not to mention a conservative-leaning Supreme Court.)
Does AOC realize that people are leaving the Democratic party because of people like her? Loony left-wingers? I saw them heading in that direction long ago.
This is why Biden threw his hat into the ring. He knew he was the only one with enough experience and "old school" persona to keep people from voting for Trump.
Sad, though. He won most of the votes not because of his popularity, but because of the irrational hatred of Trump. It's like Scarlett O'Hara marrying Melanie's brother, whom she basically disliked, to spite Ashley Wilkes. If I were him, I'd be embarrassed.
I predict the Democratic party may start to implode. The moderates are aging, if not being silenced, and the "progressive" types AOC touts are inherently incompetent.
Time will tell, of course, but a number of my predictions have proven correct. This election has been a farce on many levels.
Hunter Biden would be particularly interested.
