It’s all of it. Fake compassion from sociopathic liberal leaders who try to show they have feelings, which they don’t. In the meantime, their RESTORATIVE JUSTICE, is killing people.

‘’If I’m not mistaken, there was an article on Breitbart, day or so after the shooting, that spoke to the school being unaware of any bullying, but students saying he was.’’

You are not mistaken. From Columbine to Parkland, these misfit shooters were bullied....so we’re those that committed suicide.

Not an excuse for the shooter! It is a condemnation of those that run the schools and the various shooters’ parents.

“Angry? That sounds rather emotional.”

Better check her backpack and locker.

If the kid really wanted to shoot classmates, suspending him would be of little use.

He could just sit in a car at the curb when school was letting out. Fire off all his rounds and then just drive away.

The Supreme Court has ruled more than once that schools have a right to search lockers and backpacks in order to insure school safety. New Jersey v. T.L.O., 469 U.S. 325 (1984). Please spare me your incoherent blathering..

“Fire off all his rounds and then just drive away.”

He was 15, he didn’t have a drivers license. He’d have to steal a car besides the gun he couldn’t own or sell someone on becoming an accessory for the crime. Could be done. But that age doesn’t plan well and consider the reactions. This is why that age is used by gangs for hits as they are normally considered minors, are out of jail 3 years later at 18, and their record is purged. But they fail to consider that that’s 3 years wasted and tossed out for the wrong reasons.

Speaking of Parkland. If this DA wants to set a precedent for going after the parents, fine. I don’t agree with it, per se, but it would appear that the mother in this case is a bit off, IMHO.

However, since the DA in Michigan wants to do it, how about the DA in Broward County think about drafting some paperwork on the couple that was looking after Nikolas Cruz? They gave a troubled kid, known to everyone, full and complete access to an AR. And there was always something very odd about that whole situation.

I suppose it is because of my age but I differentiate between being bullied (continual physical or threats of physical assault) and being picked on (words occasionally said that hurt my feelings).

Most people have been picked on at some time, far fewer have actually been bullied.

While being picked on is no fun it can only hurt you if you allow it. And like it or not it is part of being properly by your peers. They are letting you know that you do not fit into the group at that point. Nobody fits into the group at all times. Sometimes you can change a behavior or mannerism and fit in better and sometimes there is nothing you can do. And sometimes there is nothing you are inclined to do. Either way it is something that you will have to learn to deal with because that is life.

Being bullied is far more serious and far more dangerous. It should be dealt with and schools do a very poor job of that.

Something that works when there is only ONE bully.

They seem to travel in packs any more.
