Fredo is a genius! The soldiers are standing by a building’s brick wall because it keeps them safe from Russian high explosive artillery rounds. Only well informed guys like Fredo (and Mercy Flush) know that Russian high explosive shells avoid brick structures and those gathered around them as a matter of design principle.
