The Inflation bomb has exploded on the Democrats.
Americans know that grocery prices and a dollar a gallon higher fuel prices lay at the feet of Biden and the Democrats,
There won’t be enough cheating to overcome this tidal wave.....
Yes. Steve has been 100% loyal through it all. Even in spite of the fact that someone in the admin talked PDJT into kicking him out. Kushner? Chief Of Staff? Who knows. ..
he has another book to sell ... what do you thing this guy is going to say.
The only time we ever here from him is when he peddling another “tell all” bunch of nonsense.
Kushner’s name cones up once in awhile from here and there..
Surely Trump can do better.. he’s too young and doesn’t seem to have the same thing going in his thinking.
Bannon was facing jail and did not budge from taking down the dem party.
Every once in awhile Trump does something..
Backing OZ was different.
Trump knows what’s going on.. I wonder if they try to get him on anything they can make hay with.. would Trump drop a ‘bomb on biden.
I know some of what’s in the laptop and if we do.. you know Washington does.
Its both incriminating and SICK!
UGH...he is ALWAYS WRONG!
I read the first 20. Virtually no one had anything to say.
Sorry i should have said one party rule, republican or otherwise, is totalitarian or a dictatorship...and most people wouldn’t know a communist or a fascist if it hit them upside their head.
Maybe you’d be more comfortable with a theocratic style of government??
I feel sorry adorno for anybody who thinks one party rule is preferable to a republic style of government such as we have in this country. And i will oppose anyone who tries to institute one party rule...be it republican, democrat, or theocratic.
One party rule does NOT have to be a dictatorial or tyrannical government.
One party can have many differing opinions, as happens within the republican and even the democratic party.
In fact, my preference would be for NO POLITICAL parties to exist, and then have people competing on ideas and policies.
There doesn’t have to be a political party in order to run governments. Political parties forces people to make choices on platforms, but, there are ideas which should not be platform dependent, and in fact, some of the ideas and policies cross party lines.
Political parties are like sports teams, and only one comes out on top. Better to have all ideas represented and then have the people decide, but the majority should not have to be the only side represented (as a direct democracy would have it). We can have representative government without having to create political teams.
One party rule does NOT have to be a dictatorial or tyrannical government.
Our founding Fathers (old white guys) did an incredible job of setting up an inefficient government with lots of checks and balances.
But we wanted an efficient government..................
I don’t disagree with your basic premise. Unfortunately we have political party’s and thus we see the dysfunction of those party’s amid the divisive environment our political discourse has devolved into.
A brief perusal of the comments here on various issues and topics shows the depth of divisiveness. Look at the degree of hostility exhibited by some when a differing view is put forth that doesn’t match the preferred viewpoint on an issue.
Calling those with whom one may disagree with “evil” as a counter point to an opinion is the hallmark of a lazy intellect and only serves to further divide people.
I intend to spend this weekend canvassing various neighborhoods and encouraging people to vote. Not voting is how we have wound up with some of the useless politicians we have. Yes I hope they vote republican but I certainly won’t call my neighbors evil if they vote for the other party.
.
Was it better to have Jefferson and Hamilton as members of opposing parties or to have them sniping and undermining each other and government policy behind the scenes? Today with the "jungle primaries" you have candidates of both parties (and of no party, too, I suppose) competing with each other to see who goes on to the general election. It seems to me to be a more chaotic and dangerous system.
A one party system doesn't necessarily have to be tyrannical. Countries have been ruled by non-party and all-party governments to get through crises. Over time, though, without an opposition the temptation of ruling despotically increases. You also get one-party rule when the government decides that the other party is a danger and has to be banned. Then the eventually start suppressing other dissenters.
A king denotes a one family rule, with the descendants becoming kings and princes and princesses and perhaps even the next king or queen.
No one in current times wants kings or queens or monarchies. The people need to decide, and nobod can rule for lengthy periods of time.
The founding fathers did create a very efficient form of government, but the problem was/is that, political affiliations corrupted the system.
However, in current times, many forms of government use inefficient forms of ‘representation’ and many representative forms of governments are relics from ancient times. One big example is, having a senate and a house of representatives, where people had to travel to a central location in order to have the people’s voices heard. There was no quick forms of communications and no quick forms of travel and no internet or TV or radio. We have all of that now, and we don’t need people traveling to Washington DC in order to have our voices/opinions/decisions heard. In fact, the senate and house are not needed. State representation does not need to have people traveling to Washington, and state decisions to the federal government can be made at the state levels (as was originally intended). What we have now is huge redundancy, and unneeded agents that supposedly can make decisions for states and cities and counties/districts.
All of that redundancy has corrupted governments and force people to crate teams (political parties), and none of that was/is needed.
The founding fathers did create a very efficient form of government,
That is one of the tenants of conservatism.

Read it slowly and let your lips move. Read it again.
No one in current times wants kings or queens or monarchies. The people need to decide, and nobody can rule for lengthy periods of time.
The point is the type of government is not the secret. It is something else. Just like technology does not does guarantee good management.
So what is the secret?
Think again. Do you really want an efficient govt? Can you think of some very efficient govts in history?
Our Founding Fathers were very intent in creating an inefficient slow moving government.
So........................................
Wouldn’t you rather have a Republic instead of a democracy. A Republic is rule of law, not majority.
As designed by our Founding Fathers.
An inefficient govt that changes slowly with many checks and balances?
Do you really want an efficient govt?
