Well, this occured on a Saturday night so at least the quiet and inquisitive scholar wasn’t stealing cars at 4AM on a school night.
Could be a White (devil) African American if the local rags play the story right.
That’s what struck me. He was a “quiet and inquisitive scholar who loved fashion and football.” and breaking into and stealing cars at 4 in the morning.
We are now living in an alternate reality. Serious people looking us straight in the eye and telling us absolute BS and they’re expecting us to nod our heads and believe it.

Giving jdege the benefit of doubt, he probably meant that in D.C. it is not “legally justified”. Note that in Texas, at night, on your own property, it is legally justified.
Once again the it's the fallacy that they're only stealing cars when the truth is that many perps have wounded or killed others while stealing a car, or used the stolen car in the commission of a murder.
