Humanize murder. Excellent.
Of course I oppose torturing babies to death. I wish you would explain what prompts such a question.
Why do you keep repeating yourself? Who the Hell do you think you are?
Do YOU favor a national abortion ban? You’re very interested in whether other people do ...
said the demon...
Are you offended that I ask people questions about their views?
The topic of this thread has to do with the politics of abortion. And issues of state vs. federal laws are being discussed.
Please explain your comment of who the hell do I think I am. It sounds like I offended your sensibilities. But you can speak for yourself as to what your concerns are . Thanks
I am interested in others views.
Do YOU favor a national abortion ban?
You didn’t answer my earlier questions, so I am not answering here.
Yes, I favor a national abortion ban, because, I believe the right to life is a constitutional, civil right. A natural right. So, not reserved to the states.
States may not permit murder. No state has the right to legalize murder. States’ rights are not absolute.
Are you in favor of murder?
Haley wants to ‘humanize’ one of the most horrific dehumanizing acts plaguing all of humanity? What a #ing idiot.
The Constitution--the only thing that gives us a nation at all--says 1) The Federal government is in charge of only the things mentioned herein; and, to be even more explicit, 2) Any matter not mentioned in this Constitution "is left to the States, respectively, or to the People."
It's especially terrifying to Leftists and Communists, but down to a certain level, if people want to be different, even different and wrong, it's their state and will be their problem. A nation of one-size-fits-all regs and laws is a tyranny, and from tyranny, corruption, state lunacy, and mass murder always follow.
Murder of children in the womb is 100% where I draw the line. Period. Abortion is completely indefensible. No one with a right mind can say “my body, my choice”. It is scientifically, factually, and morally proven without any doubt that a baby is a separate human from conception.
Abortion proponents are ignorant ghouls.
Either/Or if the domain of political rhetoric, not sane policy.
Until the unborn are formally recognized as “persons” their right to life can not be Constitutionally guaranteed. Until then, it falls to each of the 50 States to decide.
So, no; nobody should favor a national abortion ban. What everyone should favor is formal recognition of the personhood of the unborn at the Federal level. Then all Conditional rights devolve to them naturally, and their lives are their right, and that has the effect of a “national abortion ban” but accomplished by means FAR more difficult to undo, which is vastly preferable.
I dont think she means humanize abortion- making it more acceptable. My thought is that she was saying we need to a better job humanizing the pro life side. It’s not the easiest issue to approach given how stratified folks are about abortion & all of the things it touches on. Just going in and saying that it’s Biblically wrong can not be the totality of the argument we make. We have to do a better job at humanizing our argument, talking about the ramifications of accepting a culture of death- assisted suicide, selective elimination, the state offering to help kill you due to resources, partial birth abortion, etc. A purely Biblical argument will win over the actively religious half of our population, but we need to win over those that are mildly religious and those that have never been religiously active. Giving a fire & brimstone argument isn’t going to reach their minds & hearts 😉
“ABORTION IS RESOLVED AT THE FEDERAL LEVEL!”
Yes, it has-and it has been determined by the Supreme Court that it is a matter for EACH STATE to decide, which it should always have been-so leave it alone, Nikki-if people start this “national ban” stuff again, they will end up with something worse than Roe ever was-like a law protecting rapists by allowing abortions in secret for minors, maybe mandatory abortion of disabled babies, etc-right now, with this a state issue, any woman with infanticide of her unborn child on her mind will have to travel to a liberal state to have it done if her state is pro-life.
I don’t know how many unborn babies’ lives have been saved since Roe was overturned, but I’m betting it has been quite a few-so shut up, Nikki, and talk about something else-there are plenty of issues-we didn’t spend 50 years getting Roe undone to have you and others like you mess it up for some political points...
That may be the intent here.
