The solution here is obvious. Fire the person who took those electric snow plows out of service. Replace him with a dedicated greenie, preferably one who has no engineering training at all.
After all, this time it will be different.

Not for long.
The state just required all electric publik skrewl buses.
They work about as well.

Interesting, in light of the substantial weight of EVs.
I might have theorized that that weight would give an EV with plow the advantage of momentum against the onslaught of snow drifts and weight of heavy wet snow.
Hey, for that matter, an EV plow that becomes a hot flame would incinerate the snow in front of it.
Perhaps DEW could be harnessed to clear the streets. As long as the snow doesn't have a blue tint to it.

The experiment was not successful. The plow, dragging across the road and the snow buildup in front of it, created substantial resistance. Moreover, the plow required almost constant movement, eliminating the option for loading pauses. Consequently, the electric vehicle's power supply was insufficient for the demands of a New York winter, known for its heavy snowfall, as reported by the website.Sounds like this guy.

We were in Banff, Alberta for a few days a couple months ago. The city uses a fleet of electric buses in the car-free downtown area. I’ve been skeptical, but they were very nice. The streets are blessedly quiet and diesel fume-free. The EV bus sound is just like the electric bus sound in San Francisco where the system uses overhead wires and a “pantograph” to collect power and bring it to the motors.
For tight, congested urban areas, the buses do a great job reducing noise pollution and diesel exhaust pollution. We will see how they do on reliability, maintenance and operating costs.

Ok so they didn’t work as snow plows. Were they effective at cleaning streets and removing garbage?

Everything I have read lately says these EV trucks & buses for heavy work are a failure. Can’t cheat with them by saying they DO work as there is too much evidence to the contrary. Now we need to find a way to show the Democrat politics are a failure in a way that is evident to everybody. I think that is already a truth that is shown, but so far is not cheat-proof.

With global warming, why did they even need snow plows?
