But what do I know? I would have voted for either of them in the general.

Did Trump say that? I don’t think so. He attacked DeSantis, not his voters. If you or anyone else won’t vote for Trump because of what some FR posters said to you, then what can I say other than, that’s on you?

Trump was firmly tied into Youngkin's campaign. Trump's role was to bait Fast Terry from Day One, into the dead-end of making Trump the focus of his campaign.
Terry's people took the bait, even though their own internal polling didn't show tying Trump to Youngkin was a slam-dunk. This was political rope-a-dope at its finest, and it's a blueprint for what can be done in 2024 with VP Youngkin on the Trump ticket.

Four years ago in January 2020 COVID had been released upon the world and the USA we had an election in November 2020 where ten’s of millions of COVID MAIL-IN BALLOTS were counted. How convenient that COVID just seemed to arrive at the right time. And Biden, the basement candidate, wins.
Fast forward to January 2024 and we have witnessed 10 million or more illegal invaders into the USA under the Biden Crime Regime. Who does not believe that these 10 million illegals have not been led to Supervisor of Election Offices and are now registered to vote in November 2024?
This is how Biden can win in November if the MAGA crew does not start challenging Voter Registration in their respective counties.

I think another big problem is that many of our fellow country-persons are INSANE. (Full disclosure, they feel the same way about us!) And that’s a problem, because there are actually people in this nation who think Biden is doing a swell job.
But my biggest concern/fear is that the various litigations will drag on, and we’ll be in some stupid constitutional crisis or something stupid like that that everyone will yada yada about from dawn to dusk and it’s all very TEDIOUS and not a way to resolve any of the many real issues we face.
That being said, I am annoyed that Trump is not taking responsibility for/apologizing for a lot of the Covid stuff. Because that WAS him, he did boost Fauci, et al. And then trying to project that all onto DeSantis was just s.t.u.p.i.d. Trump can’t be stupid, he has to be smart now.

They didn't know how to deal with Trump in '16, he was a new force they didn't see before. And they live in a bubble (NYC, LA, DC, etc) so they were out of touch). But they've learned and adjusted their tactics. Now they're at the top of their game.
Now what about Trump? He's going to need more allies. And Trump is not always good at taking advice. He's arrogant.
He had good advisers from 2016 like Kellyanne Conway. Use them.

Well I guess I am out of politics probable until my death. I will not support Trump.
