Teach your kids, when they go down, bring their knees up to guard and gain leverage.
Spin on their back to keep the criminal by their feet.
Kick the criminal’s shins. Keep kicking them. Don’t stop until they give up.
If the criminal is seriously trying to hurt them, kick their knees.
If the criminal attempts to jump on them, they should use their strongest muscles, their legs, to push the criminal off or to the side.
If the criminal goes to their knees, short/quick kicks to the face as they move in.
Get up and run away.

I cannot fathom why any parent would send their kids to school at this point.
There are so many other options for their education available, and socialization like that, they don't need.
When I was in high school, I clearly remember our teachers telling us to settle down and pay attention because we were there to learn, not socialize.
