MAGA is the tea party with a new name.

Aren’t these just terms for the collection of more-conservative voters?

There is something to be said for the power of words, and of having a unifying name behind which to stand and - if necessary - to rally.

Regards,

I didn’t turn anything 180 deg

You are not the arbiter of which side is losing. I see it the opposite of the way you see it

People can’t take it when others see things differently. I have to be able to take it. People are so willing to claim trump tge loser. I am not

Agreed. Another example, new world order is now the deep state. Deep state, IMHO is more scary and more flexible new world order.

Agree with you.

There are a few differences between the Tea Party and MAGA. They’re both populist movements that have had strong support among grassroots conservatives. But the conservative base has evolved since the Tea Party days. There’s a greater awareness of the Uniparty/Deepstate now than there was among Tea Party supporters. At least some of that can be attributed to Donald Trump himself, who used his 2016 campaign to educate voters as to just how much control donors and lobbyists have over the political process.

I think there was a bit of naivete among Tea Party activists on that point. They were more inclined to take a candidate’s word that he was aligned with them than they are now. There’s a greater degree of healthy skepticism among MAGA voters. They don’t just automatically accept that candidates are who they say they are. They’ve been burned too many times in the past.

He should win since he won the last time, but RATS, and whoever else is involved in taking Trump down, will go to any lengths necessary to keep him from holding office ever again. If they can’t take him out via the courts, they’ll murder him.

Trump will win the election. The economy will crash under the weight of the national debt. Trump will be blamed by the press, and be defeated in 28.

Trump won't be defeated in 2028 because he will make his term for life :)

Ummmm…. If he wins, Trump won’t be able to run in 28.
