What else is new? American foreign policy has always been a joke. Worthless countries are supported like Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Saudi, etc. and they end biting the hand that supports them

"Strange that this story has not yet been discussed in the major media -" The story is at least a week old. One of the British papers reported it last week.
That Russia lodged an objection is apparently what made it news to UPI.

...just heard Ted Kennedy interviewed, he says "We must find the people responsible and get them into rehab!"
OK, I'm kidd'n, but you get my drift?

Also notice that in recent weeks Taliban has arrested and is trying a group of Christian humanitarian workers. Other humanitarian workers have left the country. All international internet traffic has been curtailed or is regulated. It all seems like part of a plan to not only to prevent information from getting in, but to prevent leaks of the plot from getting out.

The USA and Russia need to tag team bomb Afghanistan.

"The story is at least a week old. One of the British papers reported it last week."
That is total coverage? One British paper and no American papers, radio or tv .
It doesn't seem odd to you that the Number one most wanted man to Americans becomes the Chief of the military of another country and the US MEDIA leaves it alone?

We should give Afghanistan exactly 24 hours to hand over Bin-Laden or bye, bye... It's virgin heaven for one and all.

"It doesn't seem odd to you that the Number one most wanted man to Americans becomes the Chief of the military of another country and the US MEDIA leaves it alone?" Not odd at all.
When was the last time the US media paid attention to anything that didn't come from a DNC fax machine?
If the DNC missed the story, ipso facto, the mainstream media missed the story.
