Ironically, in the two cities that were actually attacked, the citizens are barred from purchasing the tools of self-defense. Go figure.

"Ordered by whom? Govt or Corp Headquarters? And was this just for the day, or permanent?"

I also wondered. My husband didn't have further details. I have a hard time seeing President Bush trying to suspend the 2nd amendment when we've just been attacked. I'd suspect it's a corporate decision.

"I think Mr. Quadri was outfitting for a differerent reason."

Oh for heaven's sake, GROW UP!

There are thousands of Muslims that do not condone what SOME RADICAL Muslims did yesterday. They don't condone it and are just as heartbroken as the rest of us.

It's time to stop painting all people of a particular race, color, religion, etc. with the same brush. Let's point the finger at those that are GUILTY and not harbor hate and bitterness against those of the same race, religion, color, etc. that had NOTHING to do with it

If we hate ALL Muslims, Palestinians, Arabs, etc. because of the actions of a radical few, we are just as bad as those that are filled with hate for us.

How short is your husbands memory? Doesn't he remember what Wal-Mart did in China? Ask him to buy his gun supplies from local anti-communist stores.

It should have read: War mongerers, still think we should gleefully bomb people all over the world, just because we can?

Your towelhead buddies who attacked us are going to die. There's no particular glee in it. It's just a fact...just cold, unwavering determination. Like the Orkin man when sprays your peaceful little cockroach friends...

Many were first-time buyers, some not even knowing how to load their weapons.

I don't like that. I like that people are buying, but I sure hope these people have at least basic training.

I had a flag, but no flag pole! I went to get a flag pole and bracket last night and found I could buy a pole and bracket for nearly $18 or a whole flag set for $9.99 at Target! Needless to say, I bought the flag set and it's flying high in front of my house.

Even as financially challenged as we are, we can afford a $10 flag set! This was a Valley Forge Flag Company flag. I appear to have bought the last one in this particular Target in Tulsa.

My husband's memory is just fine, as is the rest of him. I can understand that you might disagree with his choice of stores, but you have no business impugning his memory. Should push come to shove, I can assure you he's someone you'd want fighting on your side, not against you.

He very possibly is someone I would want on my side but I certainly would move his name to the top of the list if he would stop buying from Chinese suppliers, ie.Wal-Mart.

Sorry,
I apologise for my previous statement.
I now openly call for an increased military budget so we can exterminate those pesky Christians in Serbia once and for all.

Do you now welcome me back with open arms oh Patriotic American?

"To me, it seems rather fruitless that they're buying them. But, still, I think it's the frustration people feel," said owner Chuck Love, a former Marine and owner of Love's Gun & Pawn in DeLand.

"They want to do something, so that's what they're doing -- they're buying guns."

It's pretty obvious to me. People are angry at the US government on two counts: First, it stuck its nose in places it didn't belong and made needless mortal enemies; then it prevented people on airline flights from equipping themselves for defense against those mortal enemies. Now thousands of people are dead because of the US government.

When the US government causes the death of US citizens, it makes the citizens the government missed mad at the government. When people are mad at the government, they buy guns.

QED.

Hornets nests...So feekin' WHAT? Are you saying we DESERVE to be bombed? Is that the treason you're pushing? Choose a side! If you can't choose American lives over terrorists, then get the hell out of our country!

I doubt it,
I can envision the kind of chicken-**** response, using "smart-weapons", that might grow tiresome to city-dwelling Iraqies after 10 years, but can only leave battle-hardened Afgan Mujehadeens, (who have already killed scores of Russians before sending them packing, tails tween legs), basically laughing their head off at how weak we really are.

Treason is what you call it? "Your" country?

Ha, looks like Americans are tough-guys as long as we are doing the bombing, but when we get a taste of our own medecine, we become the worlds biggest cry-babies.
