I'll read it later with more thought, it's too late where I am right now

I will tell you this if my country sits on it's ass and wait for the next attack...
Then this conservative will have no reason to pay taxes at all
Kuait, Saudi, and Bahrain are on our side
So don't paint me as a hater of Islam. I am not
I do hate those who hate the Jews
I do hate the Nazis
This has little to do with Jerusalem, or the Quoran
Just some madmen and their perversion of a fine (but not mu) religion.
I'm not a nuke em all, type
But I shall not let the my future children feel what I am feeling now... If I have to do it myself, so be it

You should at least quote here correctly. "We should invade their countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity". She did not say "nuke em all". Do you think we should not invade thier country and kill thier leaders? If she said instill Christian virtues would you still object?

My apologies for paraphrasing. The link in post 50 states the crux of my disagreement with her and her call to war.

In regard to conversion, or as you put it "instillation," I think it would be great if we were allowed into these countries to do missionary work and to preach the gospel. But I don't condone "forcing" people to my faith because that kind of tactic fails. My guess is that we would be met with a resistance unlike any other.

Do I think we should go into other countries and kill their leaders? I think a better answer would be to figure out who and what the hell we're dealing with before we go killing anyone. Now isn't the time for knee-jerk emotionalism.

I'm with you in spirit. I just think we need to take a deep breath before we go seek our justice. Follow the money and you will find it all goes back to the Saudi's. The big black rock that all Islamics worship, the cornerstone of their faith so to speak, is there. They are doing the funding. Our fight is not just a secular one IMO. It is spiritual. We are dealing with fanatical evil. But this takes us back to our religious beliefs. We don't condone the mass murder of innocents, so we need to be really careful who we destroy in our fury. Have a great night. :)

Well if that is who the enemy is, who will we nuke?

Have I or my blonde goddess Ann, advocated nuking?
I'll read your link in #50 in the morning.

Somehow, someway we must be rid of terrorists
Some say it is impossible

Did I say it was impossible? Your not reading my posts. And Ann may as well have said nuke em all. That is the way she feels. Read the dang link and tell me I'm wrong. She can say whatever she likes, but her call to war without a moments thought is wrong. Thank God she's not running the country. She should stick to modeling.

By all means, send Janet and Lon Horiuchi to Afghanistan.

It is time for the US government to deal with these murdering scun terrorists as forcefully as it dealt with the women and children at Ruby Ridge, Waco and Miami.

Hoooyah!

"If they want him dead they should drop her in naked..."

I didn't know whether I should laugh at the line or barf at the thought of it.

Well, I agree with much she says, but certainly not all. I also tend to tune people out as unreasonable fanatics whenever there is excessive sarcasm or name-calling.

The biggest problem I see with her proposals is for locking the crew in the cockpit before passengers board. On the surface, a great idea. But there are no restrooms in the cockpit(short flights no problem, try doing that transatlantic!), there are no refreshments (missing a couple cups of coffee reduces restroom breaks, and it's more of a luxury than a necessity). Don't forget that due to the length of some transcontinental flights, it is required to have two flight crews that switch out during the flight to ensure passenger safety due to over tired flight crews. As for "The cabin crew should be able to communicate with the pilots only to request an emergency landing", this shows a tremendous lack of even common sense on her part. What's to prevent a threatened crew member from making it a request for an emergency landing rather than a hijacking? There is the difference of the perpetrator determinining the destination, or getting the cockpit crew to open the door...but they've still disrupted service. Additionally, there are numerous other potentialities that require coordination between the captain and the crew. You also have to remember that the aircrafts captain is ultimately responsible for the entire aircraft, crew and passengers, and not just everything forward of the cockpit door.

There are a lot of people in the world with good ideas (and bad ideas for that matter). The ones that usually have the biggest impact are the ones that can deliver the message with a minimal of rhetoric or schtick. Still, those are some nice legs..... :)

Just tell her that Islam is an offshoot of the Branch Davidians. That'll get her going.
