The Rush Limbaugh program is the most listened to radio program in America today heard by well over 20 Million People including myself. His viewpoint which is conservative is the majority point of view in this country. It is he, not Dan Rather, Tom Brokaw, Peter Jennings or the Democrat Underground posters who speak for the majority of people in America.

I notice one of the posters on this thread who seems to think otherwise has been a member since last year and yet when I click on find in forum, the only posts I see are on this thread. All I see on this poster's thread is member since with no statments or flags or anyhting else. This seems to be quite typical of all the Demorats who think they're the majority of this country when in reality it's the conservatives who are the majority makers.

And when groups who do such things are determined by a "star chamber" to be divisive, and terrorist, and listed for "termination policy" activities... who will stop them?

Using a tragic terror event, to justify unlimited police powers ON OUR OWN SOIL, against American citizens without due process, raises the spectre of reichstag all over again.

Granted, we are safe under Bush. Were this Clinton, would we not all be getting visits right now, for attacking Clinton's policies? Would YOU be able to stop Clitong from immolating all second amendment supporters, were HE to get "secret intelligence" from his "secret police" that supported his hatred of those of us who are the "right wing" of the conservative movement?

Don't bother answering. The answer, and you know it... is YES beyond ANY DOUBT whatsoever. We need to be real careful what kind of "idol" we let this fire create for our wonder, amazement and worship. Police powers once granted, are seldom relinquished.

Remember the "tax debate" that was headed for the spotlight??? Its gone... EVENTS are driving policy... instead of the inverse. Whatever.

We must be careful what we conceive in this hour. Unlike an unwanted pregnancy in the life of a crack whore, the monsters we chose to conceive in this hour, will come to their maturity in ways we cannot now imagine. We better stand for the bill of rights... even if we all die as a result, than lying down for a "big brother" rape party on our civil rights as AMERICANS.

I think the things we decide to do NOW, may be more dangerous to our national spirit and purpose than the four planes who immolated our bretheren in New York and the Pentagon. Bush knows this. He will proceed with maximum caution.
