"Pump action 12 gauge"

The Winchester Defender loaded with 4 ought buckshot is light and economical and can clear a wide path through any crowd of murdering thugs.

Here's the one for me:

Mk II Bren Light Machine Gun

Realise it is not exactly great for concealed carry, but just imagine what would happen to the scrote who tried to break into my house and found me ready with one of these.

Hey, Lurk!

Please tell me! Where can I get one of these fine, all-purpose weapons?!

Metric-pattern FN-FAL. The AR-15 is nice, but the .308 semi-auto seems like a do-everything choice. It's a hunting rifle! It's a battle rifle! It's *both*!

This assumes that you also have a decent supply of ammunition to go with it.

Just about anything .30 caliber, and belt fed.

I'd still have to go duck hunting so I'd stick with my 12ga. pump.

U.S. M21 rifle (it's a scoped, tricked out version of the .308 M14)

YES YES YES!

Reminds me of the "old corps".

Give all the m-16'S back to Mattel. Regards,

FN BUMP!

In addition to all of the virtues you mentioned, they can be purchased relatively cheap. I just bought one for $450. that shoots great! And the .308 round is one of the best overall rounds available.

12 gauge pump--- most versatile all-around gun.... but I sure like to play with a SAW- Squad Automatic Weapon

I think that an M-4 style AR-15 is the way to go.

Forget this "IDEA", buy several guns and be a lot happier.

Pick a pistol, Just for walking around comfort.
A shotgun for home defense
One rifle for long range targets.
