It's been exactly three years since the Free Republic March for Justice was held on the Mall in Washington D.C., an event that will never be forgotten by those who were there and was directly responsible for inspiring the House Judiciary Committee to start impeachment proceedings agains Bill Clinton.

I carried the NJ flag in the review at start of the festivities, however I am from NC.

It was wonderful, no one thing stands out, all speakers were great, LD Brown, Gary Aldrich, Peterson, Luccianne, Klayman, Joyce from Houston, Alan Keys, Connie and many more especially Jim Rob who brought all of us together with the creation of this wonderful forum.

I drove from Maine. This was on the Capital steps and it was the first time and only time I have seen and met FReepers. Not near the crowd of the earlier gathering on the Mall.

The MFJ was one of the high points in my life. My sister gave me the tape of the event she recorded from C-Span. I love re-playing it. It was my first freep. It affected the rest of my life. The mood there was electric all day. Three years later, I still get that old feeling when I think of it! God bless JohnRob for providing the inspiration for all of us. God bless the USA!

Signing in.

It was absolutely incredible. It seemed like all 4,000 of us were in the lobby of the Premiere Hotel on Friday night.

It was the first time I ever met old friends for the first time, if you catch my drift.

Half the fun was the drive up from Florida and back. Seeking the Truth, Mustang, Bets, and I drove 18 hours non-stop to get there.

Definitely worth the trip.

Captain America and I came from Michigan and loved every minute of the March for Justice, especially meeting JimRob.

We'll always remember stopping at the White House at night (after attending the Freeper party) and seeing a transvestite dressed as Marilyn Monroe circling the White House in his high heels, hoping to catch Bubba's eye!

(For those of you who don't remember, the March for Justice was held on Halloween!)

I joined a small convoy coming from from New England and had a great trip to DC. We were met, and cheered, by Freepers when we got there, (after getting lost trying to find the hotel).

I remember people on the mall, making signs, and sharing supplies with anyone who needed them.

The March was wonderful. My fvorite speaker was Rev. Jesse Peterson, although all of the speakers were great.

It was such a neat experience!!! My entire family went (drove the 12 hours - one-way - to DC to get there) - husband, 3 sons and myself. I remember that my youngest son - who was only 7 at the time - was a little upset because he was going to miss out on going trick-or-treating - but some of the folks who attended brought candy and passed it out at the pizza get together afterward.

I met SO MANY terrific folks that weekend. And, of course - getting to hear so many outstanding people speak.

I am so glad that I had the opportuntity to attend. It is an experience I will never forget.

Came in from Michigan to carry my "Fire the Liar" sign. It was great to meet so many terrific people that I had exchanged thoughts with here. I can still hear the bagpipes, and get a lump in my throat when I remember the procession of Freepers carrying state flags from all over the country that kicked things off.

One of the most memorable events of the decade. I traveled with the New England convoy. The day of the MFJ was glorious, the speakers superb and the FReeper spirit contagious. We made a difference!

I know what you mean - the sound of the bagpipes and the image of the procession of freepers carrying the flags still chokes me up, too.

It's hard to believe that it's been 3 years now!! It was such a glorious day - one that I will never forget.

What a great day. Carried the flag that flies outside my house today. Quite a cast of characters--saw Bob Barr, Lucianne, Gary Aldrich, CaL, and other notables of the time before the festivities. Even had some fun eschoir-baiting. The March was a much-needed dose of truth during a dishonest administration.

This was my first freeper event. I found a home with so many patriotic American's who belive in faith, family, and liberty.

I drove down from Massachusetts leading the "New England Convoy" with my wife and two sons (who got a day off from school for "educational reasons"). I don't remember all the people who drove down with us but Patriot76 and yikes were two of them. We picked up people all the way down I-95. In New Jersey, we met the late BCjohnson at a rest stop where he took pictures and handed out American flags, one of which has been riding my car antenna since the week of 9/11.

The day itself (October 31) was one of the best weather days I have ever seen. I think it was 72 degrees and totally clear in Washington D.C. I stayed at the rally all the way through the Pokerface show and then I remember walking along the mall to the Lincoln Memorial to meet up with my wife who had taken the kids sightseeing. The rally itself was something I'll never forget. I met Gary Aldrich and Matt Drudge in person among many other prominent Freepers, too many to mention.

My kids still give me grief about making them miss Halloween at home but when they get older, they will understand.

I was at the Supreme Court demonstration and was shown on FoxNews, arguing with some jerk liberal carrying a sign accusing Bush of snorting cocaine.

To this day, associates and acquaintances still ask, "was that you"? ;^)

Oh yeah...we wuz there! A whole bunch from CT...it was a glorious halloween that year!!!

Thanks for reminding me of BCJohnson...I remember that stop on the NJ Turnpike...we had flags sticking out all over my black Tahoe!!!
