Katic Couric needs to be put out to pasture, right along with Dan-the-Man Blather and all the other liberals who call themselves "journalists".

Wasn't there something a few days/weeks ago here about how the recounts showed a Bush win?

Toobin is still arguing the same points he was making last November. And no one is listening (other than NBC Today).
BTW, did Today give as much attention to Bill Salmon's book on how the Gore campaign tried to hijack the Presidency?

Well, this is one reason I have not watched the Today Show since back in November. When I found out what a lap dog for Gore Katie is, I said "that's it. I will never watch this show again!"

The point these people will never accept is that the only way Gore could have won Flordia was to change the rules, and to count ballots that were legally disqualified, according to the election laws of Florida.
But, what's the worry? The fact that Toobin, Couric, and other lefties will be scarred for life, unable to sleep, and emotionally unhinged over the fact that GW Bush became the 43rd President pleases me beyond words.

Don't know, don't know. That's not what I base my conclusion on. What I base my conclusion on is things like 3700, 3400 votes for Pat Buchanan in Palm Beach, County. Thousands of black voters not, disenfranchised in Jacksonville." He is basing his conclusion not on any hard, objective evidence. He is basing his conclusion on his feeling that the votes for Buchanan cast erroneously, and that there were disenfranchsed black voters in Jacksonville. Yeah, that's convincing.

Can we get their advertiser's names?
A boycott is possible as well as understanding who funds these people.
To: Jerrybob
What a Clymer.
The recounts showed that Bush won. Period.
His argument is that some people were too stupid to follow instructions and voted for Buchanan instead of Gore and that some other people were too stupid to follow instructions and voted for two candidates instead of just Gore, therefore Gore should have won.
Fine, if he wants to play that game, let's take him at his word.
So we give Gore a few thousand more votes.
Then we note the people who were deterred from voting in the Central time zone due to the incorrect call of Florida, in counties that went 2-1 for Bush.
Maybe Gore's still ahead.
Then we take into account all the felons who voted but shouldn't have. These people were registered 2-1 Democratic and clearly broke for Gore.
Then we adjust for all the non-citizens who voted, who again broke for Gore.
So even if we take Toobin at his word and make adjustments based on his claims, if we make ALL such adjustments, Bush still comes out on top.
I don't know why Toobin wasted a year writing this book. His conclusion was written in January, then he did his research. The fact that one of us could knock down his conclusion in a couple minutes just by citing things he didn't mention (like felons and non-citizens) shows how weak his argument is.

Well, this is one reason I have not watched the Today Show since back in November. Took you that long to figure out the Today show is a waste of electromagnetic frequency? I stopped watching when they sacked Jane "Not Blonde Enough" Pauley.

Despicable stuff from NBC. I refuse to watch the Today Show because of that liberal airhead Couric. She's just a mean little _itch.

Couric said.."Katie Couric quoted from the book: "The wrong man was inaugurated on January 20th 2001 and this is no small thing in our nation's history. The bell of this election can never be un-rung and the sound will haunt us for some time." What is with these "news" are they trying to sway an audience, to belive the way they do? I am sick to death of these sickening types, and, Couric heads my list of nauseating CREEPS.
To: mwl1
This was perfect timing. President GWB throws out the first pitch....the crowd loves him.....what else could Katie have to say? Lets "damage control" the love for this man.
To: LavaDog
Well, if the right wing fanatics are responsible for the anthrax than Couric and Toobin should already be infected or would be soon don't you think? Or Ted Turner and Jane Fonda? So many liberals and leftists and so many letters to wirte. Or why not Hollywood studios as well. Than again if Iraq with all its money and resources could not produce the powdered anthrax, how is a Kazinski type going to do it in their garage?

The most important question here as I see it, is whether Jeffrey Toobin is just an easily fooled schlub, or was he part of the Gore conspiracy to steal the election?
