Why is there an Islamic Village in the foothills near Fresno?
KFSN TV 30 Fresno, CA ^ | 11-07-01 | Kevin Quinn

.Why is there an Islamic Village in the foothills near Fresno? There's an airstrip and neighbors complain of gunfire. Kevin Quinn takes you inside Baladullah, California.

Sorry, no transcript as of now. Video only. Worth the effort to view.

The video provides a look at this compound in the foothills above Fresno, CA. Pre 9-11, a Fresn County Sheriffs deputy was killed by a member of this peaceful Islamic community. The suspect (in the beginning trial phase still) broke into a empty nearby foothill home, when deputies arrived this guy was lying in the hallway floor with a rifle, and killed one deputy. This video is the first investigative reporting we have had on this Islamic community. The trail leads to FUQRA, a known terrorist group operating all over the world, and have several communities such as this one all over the USA.

Here is an excerpt from an article of the Sacramento Bee...

California links of terrorists probed:
Federal and state investigators try to unearth 'sleeper' agents.
By Sam Stanton and Andy Furillo
Bee Staff Writers

(Published Sept. 30, 2001)

The compound Beyond seeking out ties to bin Laden-linked terrorist networks, officials are keeping tabs on another Islamic group near Fresno because of the recent killing of a sheriff's deputy in an area home, apparently stemming from a botched burglary.(this was no burglary according to all accounts)

There is no evidence that the Fresno group has been involved in any terrorist activities, officials say.

The group, according to a federal source, is part of Fuqra, an organization whose name means "poverty" in Arabic and which has had compounds in several U.S. areas.

Some Fuqra members in other areas have been implicated in past years in domestic terrorist attacks, and the State Department has labeled the group, known formally as Jamaat ul-Fuqra, as "an Islamic sect that seeks to purify Islam through violence."

The group south of Fresno operates an 1,800-acre compound called the International Quranic Open University, which sits on the former site of the drug addiction recovery cult Synanon.

The compound, a series of mobile homes shaded by trees, also serves as a U-Haul rentals location. A resident there last week refused to talk to a reporter, referring inquiries to a Visalia attorney who did not respond to a message seeking information.

Authorities have been studying the compound since the Aug. 21 slaying of Fresno County Sheriff's Deputy Erik Telen. Officials charged 20-year-old Ramadan Abdur-Rauf Abdullah with murder in the killing, apparently stemming from a botched burglary at a rural home.

James Oppliger, Fresno County's chief deputy district attorney, said the suspect claimed he had been living at the compound seeking psychiatric treatment from the Quranic university.

Oppliger said he since has begun studying the group and its possible connections to other organizations.

(Zavia Books) is the bookstore for this Islamic compound. It is called Koranic Open University. Note the books being sold. One of them is prefaced by ( Sheik Mubarik Ali Shah Jilani [Gilani]) a known terrorist. The trail leads from Baladullah (actually Miramonte, CA) to Pakistan, where Sheik Gilani lives. He is the head of Fuqra.

Hey, Islam is peaceful and does not seek to subjugate others...this is all propaganda. Foreign Muslims would never send money to Muslims in the USA to establish a foothold. There is no compulsion in Islam, remember?

Synanon was spooky enough, and now this? Ugh, I'm too close in Visalia.

>We (the US) can be pretty stupid when we want to be.

Well, it's difficult to use the word "we" to describe the US.

Remember, there's Red Nation America and Blue Nation America. Blue Nation is -- for all practical purposes -- an occupying force, a contemporary variation of the Vichy regime, which imposes its policies on Red Nation America.

Red Nation America is not suicidal. Red Nation America is not stupid. Red Nation America would never allow terrorist camps to be set up within its borders.

But Blue Nation America ALLOWS this kind of stuff because Blue Nation America is, in a very real way, AT WAR with Red Nation America. And it's a war in which Red Nation America CAN NOT FIGHT BACK because WE -- Red Nation America -- have great passion and love for America and we know that if we fight Blue Nation America, then it would amount to a civil war. (Blue Nation America doesn't care about such an issue because Blue Nation America hates America and all the values Red Nation loves.) So, the kind of horrible status quo just continues. Blue Nation America -- like cancer -- continues to dissolve away the body of America over-all. Red Nation America does what it can to live honorable and peacefully. But sooner or later SOMETHING'S GOT TO GIVE.

Ammazing. I'm not a "fan" of Ruby Ridge/Waco BUT: the US officials surrounded Weaver and shot his wife because he sold 1/4'' short shotgun ---- here a Sheriff is murdered and these people are still given free range!!!! They (US) also had no trouble shooting Cooper --- here the known terrorist-tied Muslims get a free pass. This is absolutely ridiculous, "no-knock warrants" are OK for the rest of us poor saps, these people can apparently do anything. Did someone say we were in a WAR? Right.

Remeber that old "Twilight Zone" episode about this ordinary-looking American small town, everything seems normal, except that there is this mysterious yellow line on the outskirts that nobody can ever cross? At the end of the story, it turns out that this town is in the middle of the Soviet Union and is used for spy training purposes.

If something like this is what this compound is for, then I'm OK with that. But I doubt it.

I am skeptical about Fuqra's Pakistani leader.
My understanding is that it's a supersecret US based organization, probably out of Chicago, affiliated with Farakhan.
They are very bloody people, they kill moderate Muslim leaders, usually by knifing them in broad daylight.

Has the INS been informed of this situation? How many illegals are located there?
Right after 9-11, there was a request by FBI for a copy of all foreign FSU student records. They checked all ?Arab? students enrolled in colleges across the nation but Fresno seemed to given extra scrutiny. Heard later that the reason for this was because of Fresno's large population of muslins.
Can anyone else confirm this?

Having reviewed this thread I really do see this village as an enemy enclave here in the USA. This place should be taken out now all inhabitants rrounded up (coconspirators in the murder of a police officer).

I guess it is gonna take about 1,000,000 dead Americnas to wake people up.

Stay well - Stay safe -Stay armed - Yorktown

I saw this article using a search engine for Baladullah. This was on 9-12, an Islamic apologetics article. I emailed the reporter Erin Kennedy, and asked her why she has not done any investigation or printed a follow up article similar to the one on KFSN, she responded that she couldn't corroborate anything...she should try the FBI, the Fresno County Sherrif..Susan Fenger, criminal investigator.

I am sure that the "village" is used for spy and terrorism training purposes, but not by our side.

Jeez, they could have a giant anthrax lab in a barn, and we'd never know it.

Can you imagine the German Gestapo and SS operating a giant "village" there in 1942? Boarding, training, and hiding newly arrived stormtroopers, working on their English and "Amercian Operations" skills?

Does a nation this dumb deserve to prevail?

According to KFSN news report, local legislators are scrambling to write new law concerning charter school. Assmbleyman Mike Briggs (r)Clovis, wants to limit a schools charter to one location, rather than several scattered all over several different jurisdictions.

A man from the Roanoke area was being held in federal detention yesterday on weapons charges after prosecutors linked him in court to what they said was a violent black Muslim group known as Al-Fuqra.

Thanks for this post. I heard a little bit of their gun practice on the radio this week. Sounded like Ft Ord used to when it ran live fire pracices!

First of all, we need to see how much money these Islamic terrorists have donated to Gray Davis. If they donated a million or so, he would leave them alone.

I'm sure that Davis and the current educational secretary made sure that they got the $1 million in Charter school funds and $5 million to come later!

Funding on a level like this does not happen by an accident. It has to be greased on the skids by someone like Davis and his criminals who are in charge of the state!
