"Sowell is one of the highest intellects in the U.S...."

Is that a Timothy Leary high?

When they claimed that Clinton belonged to Georgetwon's class 1968, it is assumed that he graduated in that year.

Thanks for posting. I knew there was somebody that BC reminded me of - I just couldn't quite pin it down...

And I hope San Ignacio de Loyola goes and sows the beds of contemporary Jesuits with thorns. They're disgusting, arrogant, self-obsessed non-Christians - but hey, I guess that's why they invited Bill C in the first place. True soul brothers.

It is dangerous to assume anything regarding Bill Clinton. I still do not believe that he ever graduated. I don't think that he received any degree before his Yale law degree.

well, let's see. i read the speech and 'thinking for myself' it just sounds like the same old tripe. a line or two to speak about:

'hopefully, decent people can figure out how to defend themselves' (against that thug who came out of his cave)
(what gall, after trying to disarm the law abiding citizens)

'i worked hard for 8 years building up the pentagon'
(what, by whittling down the military?)

'those who died in the WTC are different from those who killed them'
(so does that mean that charles manson was different from sharon tate?)

'those of european lineage are not blameless'?
(yes bill, i'm so sorry for what the mass murderer's did. i'm so ashamed)

'the lines between foreign & domestic policy are becoming meaningless'
(is that the globalist mantra or are you saying that the USA has no more sovereignty?)

'growing diversity and sharing community'
(you mean when they allow low lifes to move in on section 8 and ruin an otherwise nice neighborhood, like they did where i used to live in hayward,CA?)

'blacks, indians, gays and religious beliefs are constantly attacked by some form of terrorism'
(so 'reparations' will make them all forget? shouldn't you tell the ACLU this since they constantly attack christians and boy scouts?)

'sherman's campaign through the south was a 'mild form' of terrorism?
(you really have no animosity toward that yankee for what he did? and also that the northern soldiers still called the northern black soldiers 'niggers'?)

'my present job..i am 'just' a citizen'
(oh brother. you make us all so proud to be 'just citizens'. how many of us 'citizens' get to travel the world and make ridiculous amounts of money spouting a bunch of socialist drivel?)

'sorry you had to wait for tickets'
(you mean you actually charged people to listen to you? p.t. barnum WAS right)

'in the 20th century, millions have died under despot governments'
(yeah, and rwanda was on your watch as you turned a blind eye)

'get rid of our arrogant self-righteousness'
(boy, if ANYONE is self-righteous....i swear, what an insult to America)

why don't you just shut the hell up and go live in beijing with the rest of the commies? (you can go with him, von!)

(can i get an amen?)

There is nothing wrong on the quotation. What is wrong is Clinton's devious intent to link long past grievances with the September 11 unjustifiable terrorist attack. At the center of Clinton’s ramblings was the implication that the crimes committed against Indians and Blacks in America were the root cause of the terrorist attack of September 11, even though the U.S. did not even exist at the time of some of those alleged crimes. Neither considered Clinton the fact that the innocent victims of Sep. 11 had any relationship with those who committed the alleged crimes over a century ago.

It is a fact that slavery and anthropophagi were prevalent in America before the encounter with the Europeans. If some terrorists tomorrow obliterated some Indian reservation would the actions committed by some Indians 600 years ago in any way ameliorate the character of such terrorist crime?

Clinton compulsory attachment for apologizing for other sins, but not for his own, brought for in his incoherent speech the theme of the crusades, blasting Christian Europe for trying to get rid of the Muslim occupation during the Middle Ages. Islam conquered the Middle East, part of Africa, Asia and Europe, by the sword. Spain suffered 700 years of Muslim occupation. The fact that the main source of Black slaves were the Muslims and that the slave trade included also white Christian, did not excerpt any condemnation from Clinton. Neither brought Clinton any condemnation of the fact that during his presidency and still today in Africa the Muslims hunt as animals Black Christians who are sold as slaves. He also conveniently forgot to mention that he did nothing to end the massacres of Blacks against Blacks that occurred in Africa while he was president.

In May 1571, the Turkish Muslim fleet increased the siege of the city of Famagosta in Cyprus, who had held out heroically for nearly a year under the Venetian general Bragadino. Mustapha Pasha through all his fury upon this city for three months with overpowering forces. In August, the hunger forced Bragadino to agree to surrender, if the Muslims would spare their lives. Mustapha agreed; but as soon as the Christians had lay down their arms, he had them tortured and butchered, women and children included. The general Bragadino was skinned alive. The chronicles of the time reported that there were other atrocities too horrible to mention. Mustapha went sailing off in quest of the Christian fleet, with the stuffed skin of Bragadino swinging from the yardarm.

In October, in the Gulf of Lepanto, the powerful never defeated Turkish fleet with 286 galleys entered battle against the 208 of the Christian fleet that was under the command of the 22 year old, don Juan de Austria, half brother of King Phillip II of Spain. It was a bloody battled in which the Christians obtained an extraordinary victory that made possible the survival of Christendom in Europe. The Turks lost 224 vessels, 130 captured and 90 sunk or burned; at least 25,000 Muslims died in battle and 5,000 captured; 10,000 of their Christian captives were set free. The Christians lost 8,000 men. The horrors committed by the Muslims against the city of Famagosta were the hallmark of the Muslim domination. In Lepanto, the Christians brought to justice the perpetrators of such horrible crimes.

Following Clinton’s rationale would be justifiable to bomb Meca in retribution of the genocide committed by the Muslims upon the Christians of Famagosta 430 years ago.
