Well I had an old dog and his name was Blue
Yes I had an old dog and his name was Blue
Well I had an old dog and his name was Blue
I bet you five dollars hes a good dog too
Old Blue chased a possum up a holler limb
Blue chased a possum up a holler limb
Blue chased a possum up a holler limb
The possum growled, Blue whined at him
Bye Bye Blue, you good dog you
Bye Bye Blue, you good dog you
When old Blue died he died so hard
He shook the ground in my back yard
We lowered him down with a golden chain
and every link we called his name
My old Blue was a good old hound
Youd hear him holler miles around
When I get to heaven first thing Ill do
is grab my horn and call for Blue
In my opinion, the worst time, most traumatic, is when you make the decision to have your pet put to sleep till the vet actually administers the fatal dose.
This is Jesse ~ she was a Manchester Terrier. She was with me for 16 AWESOME years!! I literally can't wait to see her again!

It's not "Goodbye" to you 3, it's just "See You Later", because we will see each other again! You're going home now, and you just need to wait for me there...
How amazing to click on FR this evening and to find this awesome tribute to my beloved Brunna activated once again. NOT A DAY goes by that I don’t think of him and long for him. His ashes are waiting to be buried with me. Yet he has a life of his own here on FR. I’m truly humbled and grateful. His two ‘successors,’ Paddy (collieX) and Sasha (beagleX) are what get me up and moving every day... but they’re not ‘himself.’ Hello, my Brunna, thanks for checking in today. Peace.
Remembering Brunna on the 8th anniversary of his death. As I write, I’m anxiously awaiting the return of Paddy and Sasha who went out for ‘one last run’ in -35C weather and have not returned!! Prayers up. God... look after my doggies out there and bring them safely back to me.
Today I said ‘goodbye’ to my darling Paddy, who has been with me just shy of 12 years. Rest in Peace, my friend. Brunna will have welcomed you at Rainbow Bridge. I’ll be along soon.
