I don't think any self respecting Clevelander would waste beer by throwing a bottle with anything in it at a referee. I believe they learn at a tender age the priorities are 1) drink, 2) throw. A Clevelander getting that backwards would probably be ejected from the game for excessive, unsportsmanlike conduct.

No sportsman would throw before drinking.
