911 Pictures -- Help -- so we won't forget
Posted on 12/31/2001 4:32:58 PM PST by Phyto Chems
Can anyone help with a link to some of the 911 Pictures, I thought I had bookmarks some of the threads but must not have, sorry, THANKS for your time and help. I was wanting to show a co-worker the one of people falling from the towers. I think this 1 picture should be shown to all the USA daily so we won't forget us be sheeple and all.

Never forget.

The original poster specifically requested that sh*t(the people falling)to remind people of the horror of 911.
I came across the link on Free Republic back in october.
People have a tendency to forget and move on with their lives, the victims of 911 don't have that luxury.

I appreciate your sentiment but I don't need pictures. They're etched in my mind and there's no chance of my forgetting. Most of the people in this country will, though, and showing 'em all the pictures in the world won't change that. 'Tis the times we live in.

He survived the WTC attack because he was late for work that
day. Send him an e-mail (it's below the video) and you will get an
auto response from him which is pretty emotional itself and also
tells you how to download a copy.

There are plenty of pictures out there without having to send videos accomponied by "Head Banger" music
showing people jumping to their death and that has links to "gruesome" photos of the dead on it. Just my
opinion... I could be wrong!

Thanks for the link to the "Chronicle" photos.
Prayers for the bereaved folks in those pictures who were looking for their
loved one that didn't come home on 9-11. May they experience peace and tender mercies
in the new year.
For those who object to this thread, I respect that. But I want a few of these photos on file
so that some years hence, when my newly born niece is told by some teacher that "the USA over-
reacted like a 'high-tech bully' over 9-11"...I can honestly tell her that I have pictures of that
time that I WON'T show her.

I cried just as hard this time as I did the first time I watched this video. The hardest part of it for me was seeing those firemen, knowing that they would be DEAD shortly after those pictures were taken. They truly epitomize the saying: "Greater love hath no man than he who lays down his life for another."
I am one of the few FReepers, probably, who was alive during the Attack on Pearl Harbor. I was so scared. But I was only 3 years old. This time with the attack on the WTC, I am not afraid - I am filled with grief.
I tend to think that's how America felt when she lost so many sons at Pearl Harbor. Then their grief turned to rage, and the murderers lived to regret it. I pray that our country is as strong now as it was then!
Thank you, Phyto Chems for this thread. America has almost forgotten The Alamo, The Maine, and even Pearl Harbor. I hope she NEVER forgets THIS day.
