If you're getting 'brainwaves from Uranus' a tinfoil hat ain't gonna help!

Maybe tinfoil pants would work. ;^)

Cheese ... what one exclaims, usually in public, to embarrass the cheesee, when the cheesee has said or done something really stoopid.

Moose ... what keeps your hair in place.

Tinfoil Hats ... what protects your moosed hair from coming undone when someone publically embarrasses you with ... "Cheese!"

(Did I win?)

Aluminum Foil Deflector Beanie
An Effective, Low-Cost Solution To Combating Mind-Control

An Aluminum Foil Deflector Beanie (AFDB) is a type of headwear that can shield your brain from most electromagnetic psychotronic mind control carriers. AFDBs are inexpensive (even free if you don't mind scrounging for thrown-out aluminium foil) and can be constructed by anyone with at least the dexterity of a chimp (maybe bonobo). This cheap and unobtrusive form of mind control protection offers real security to the masses. Not only do they protect against incoming signals, but they also block most forms of brain scanning and mind reading, keeping the secrets in your head truly secret. AFDBs are safe and operate automatically. All you do is make it and wear it and you're good to go! Plus, AFDBs are stylish and comfortable.

What are you waiting for? Make one today!

What gives? I searched the page you linked to for both "cheese" and "moose", and neither chow up anywhere in your lexicon. Is that an answer?

I believe it all stems from an infamous incident in July of 1997, when a Canadian FReeper's sister (I forget which FReeper it was, someone may be able to help me out here) was at Lake Diefenbaker, having a wine and cheese party right by the lake with several of her friends. They were attacked by a wayward moose who bit the sister (I believe) and trampled in the cheese.

Where the tin foil hats came in, I'm not quite sure. I think those were a separate incident.
