Today the FReepers in Seattle and surrounding areas got their chance to FReep the Big Creep and Maria Cantwell. Despite predictions of snow and ice, and even 2 hour school delays, we made it to Seattle - and the SUN SHONE!

Yes, it was an interesting freep at that. I was amazed at how many rude men there are in downtown Seattle. Flipping us off, yelling "losers" and "get a life" while driving by in their suits and fancy cars.
However I was impressed with people who actually stopped and asked us why we were doing this. I particularly loved the elderly lady who pointed at my "Clinton Pardoned Terrorists" sign and commented "yes he did, dear. But he didn't know what would happen".
Our numbers were few - but our enthusiasm was great. Thanks to everyone for a job well done.

BTTT We got a glimpse of Clinton, and he got a glimpse of our signs. Fair trade. I almost missed him because when I heard "limo" I was thinking stretch and all that. His car is the little black one going into the garage. Being an ex-president is not as snazzy as being the "Pres." And he doesn't handle it well.
BTW, THANK YOU Noexcuses, for bringing your digital camera and getting so many good pictures. You are awesome!

I am watching Channel 5 news now. They were the only news channel with a camera as far as I could tell.
Hope the Seattle Times prints my comments comparing x42's celebrity with oj simpsons LOL!!!

BUMP All our "assigned" police guys were great, except one who was a bit hang-dog. When we started walking, he did too.
When I asked him if he was going closer to the garage entrance where clinton was due, he said he "had to go where ever we did."LOL But eh police were great. Some referred to the XXX impeached as "the moron."
To: Libertina
Yes, I had to laugh at the Seattle Police saying they had to be there - wasn't their choice. And they kept making comments about no surprise he (X42)was late. Very nice guys - I think they enjoyed our "show".
To: noexcuses
Whoops! I'm posting this and missing us on TV news!
(L - R)Noexcuses, Angry Elephant, Libertina, RightWinger, Rudy
After we FReeped the Creep, we went right across to the Sheraton Hotel and had linch! LOL Many of the luncheon participants had looked out the windows at us. We thought it was a good idea to go in!
Only one bad choice: our FReep was promoted on KVI. Other people hadn't shown up for a while, and when we finished with Bill, we decided to go get lunch. I had asked a policeman to direct any people to us, and we had a window overlooking the street - but when Ethical came at 12:15 we weren't there. I just hope other people didn't walk over from office buildings after listening to KVI and found the site empty. A mistake I won't make again.
To: Libertina
Freeping excellent! Thanks for taking the time and making the effort to give the impeached one the publicity he so richly deserves. Loved the signs.
To: What Is Ain't
Oh man I am watching Komo4 and x42 walked around Pike Place Market after the lunch!! Shucks!!
To: Libertina;all
I want to thank each of you, very warmly, for your efforts. This kind of grassroots action is still very important.

BTTT One sad conversation I had with 2 policemen before we departed: They had been at the Mardi Gras debacle. One told me he stood just 10 feet away from where the young man who tried to help the girl up had been MURDERED by minority gang youth: AS THE OFFICERS WERE TOLD TO STAND AND WATCH AND DO NOTHING. He said many people came up to them asking for help from the assaults.
I asked why he and some of his men didn't just disobey orders and "do the right thing." He said they hadn't known, of course, that the young man would be hurt so badly. But he added that ANY OFFICER fired in WA CANNOT be hired in any other precinct in WA. That's it for the state. Career over. They were told not to go in because it would look like they were hurting blacks (the gang guys were black) and the "chief" didn't want the bad pr. In addition, this officer won't go after any car thief either, because for underagers, there is NO jail time. And if a police officer gets a scratch on his car he'll "get in trouble." These are good men with their hands tied. They hate their job and what it has become, what the country has become. Incomprehensible how messed up it is.
To: Libertina
Great FReep, Get on 'em and stay on 'em! Snow, must be global warming, East of the Cascades snow, West rain.
To: backhoe; What is ain't
BUMP Your welcome. Despite predictions of more snow and ice, the sun actually came out shining all morning. One funny thing with a liberal: There was a garage entrance on our side of the road, and a suited man in a nice car came by. He stuck out his head and yelled "Get a life!" But his car swerved and he almost hit the parked car he was driving past and had to swerve again to miss it. It was pretty entertaining.
Several young people came by, though, and were surprisingly open to talking about issues. The one with the blue hair comes to mind. I explained that clinton had shamed his wife and daughter publicly and Maria was wrong to associate with him or take any more of his sleazy money. That seemded to make sense to her. She didn't like all the "God" in the flag waving though. Well, little by little.
To: Little Bill
Bravo! Well done - thanks for your time.

Missed it again! I'll have to check it out tonight on the late edition. Clinton looked like he was having fun in Pike Place Market. IF we'd known, we would have stayed to help him "enjoy it more." :)
To: Libertina
A bump - I waved at you all from 29,000 feet.
To: Libertina
You all did a great job today. The Creep got to see you, and you caused hundreds, if not thousands who saw your protest to think about Clinton's legacy. And you made it on TV, too !
Way to go.

Hi BTD, did you just get back! What timing! LOL When's our FReep Potluck? Is the beer ready yet?
To: Libertina
What's with the hand signal? If it means "hook 'em horns" or warding off an evil eye, I have no problem. If it's a Satanic symbol...I do.
To: Billthedrill
I waved at you all from 29,000 feet.

Thanks for the heads up. The hand signal in question is often seen at hard rock concerts. The meaning of any symbol is in the mind of the symbolizer.

Yeah right... And the fact that Rudy used to be a pastor leads me to doubt its a*&%%$% symbol. But how about that goat we keep?! LOL CMS, now see what you stirred up! The goat's out of the bag!

That goat reminds me an awful lot of a lady I once dated.
And I'm not pissed at all. Instead of a hog roast we could have a goat roast. I once had two different kinds of goat in a Mexican "country cooking" restaurant in Addison, Texas. Tasted great. Less filling.
Libertina, good work!

To: Libertina
Thank you so much for FReeping THAT creep today!
To: Fred Mertz
They just ran piece on Northwest Cable News and had a shot of us all with our signs.
The voice over said something like not everyone was there to cheer the x42 and then they cut to bubba talking inside.
He said when your an ex president you'll take any attention you can get.
To: Libertina; publius; billthedrill
Don't forget "vic", the 63 y.o. guy talked to who claimed to have a masters degree and majored in economics from U. of Washington. And then told me the only way a rich person can get their money is to take it from poor people because there is a finite amount of money.
Then he told me he was hurting finacially because he lost all his retirement money in the stock market last year.
Asked him how a guy with an economics degree could not move his money into safer investments AFTER he has already retired.
He said the Merill Lynch broker told him to do it.
HAAAAAAAAAAA what an idiot. p.s. I never believed him when he said he had a degree in economics. There was a split second of a pause when I told him his degree couldn't have been in economics.
To: Billthedrill
I waved at you all from 29,000 feet.NO. You don't get credit for the freep.lol

The average looking female delegate at the Libertarian Party Convention.
My name is Lois and I carry a Lyndon LaRouche autographed copy of "how to pay no taxes for life" in my shopping bag that I carry everywhere.

Good job guys and gals. As one who has held many a one woman protest I have concluded that numbers are nice for impact but it only takes one to stand up for the right thing.
